Getting Married: The Bridal Room (Yang Dilanda Banjir)

I've been getting a lot of questions lately pertaining to my wedding preparation. So thoughtful of my friends really! Tqvm! ♥

23/12/2014, 2 days before the flood

I took these pictures & uploaded some on my Instagram, being happy & excited as Abah just finished doing his DIY project renovating & repainting the bridal room downstairs. I always wanted a bright & white bedroom & I had exactly what I had always wanted. Excited punggah barang dari bilik tidur lama upstairs masuk bilik baru. Nasib baik tak banyak lagi barang, if not lagi penat masa kena kosongkan bilik masa banjir start naik on 25/12/2015. Hehe!

Gambar bilik post flood? Tak ada. Tak ada mood nak ambil gambar. Sobs!

For the record, mase banjir hari tu takat air di dalam rumah ialah pada takat telinga seorang wanita yang berketinggian 153 cm (mek letteww) meanwhile di dalam bilik pengantin ialah, takat dada kot? Or probably higher. Fortunately the bed, night stands & vanity are still in a good condition (albeit ada kesan-kesan lumpur) but not for the wardrobe. Dalam tu macam rosak sikit but boleh je guna. Sabar je la kan? Bak kata Abah, bukan nak tidur dalam almari pun. Lols!

We resumed the wedding preparation right after we returned home after the flood (we stayed at the nearby school for 3 days & 3 nights). It's been tiring, cuci sana here & there but we've no choice. I mean, the flood hit our area about 2 months before the Wedding with most of the preparation was almost complete & because of the flood, there are some things that need to be fixed/repainted. So, we definitely can't afford to just goyang kaki ayte?

1 month left before the Wedding, may Allah ease our affairs. Amin ya rabbal alamin
