Happy 17th Birthday Baei!

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Went to Cafe Jiran, Jalan Demit K.Bharu (near Ajih Nasi Lemak) for dinner yesterday evening with my girlfriends. Since everybody is busy with work, life, qadha-ing tido etc, we didn't have time for typical Raya session together. So, a makan-makan do like this once in a while qadha-ed all the missing reunions we always planned to have

Everybody ordered the same dish (despite the fact that Baei & Che Ra took like forever before they could decide what they want on the menu *rolls eyes*). Lupa pulak fancy name dia, juicy ape ntah but lamb chop la kekdahnya. RM18.60 per plate if I'm not mistaken

It was either our knives were blunt or lamb tu yang liat but it was still good. Love the mashed potato & the sauce. The pizza was also good. If it wasn't because I was already full, I would have finished 2 slices of pizza in the blink of eyes. Gitteww!

Oh, it was also Baei's birthday yesterday! Happy 17th birthday Baei! ♥ (banyak gila discount umur. Lols!) This girl turns a year older but her sense of humours never seemed to fade away. We were classmates for 4 years at Sains Pasir Puteh & she's definitely been my source of laughter & stok gosip all these years. Hehe! And I know I'm in the right set of friends when the first thing we do whenever we meet is laugh laugh & laugh

Jumpa then ketawa tanpa sebarang alasan kukuh, adakah anda juga memiliki kawan-kawan sebegini?

From L to R: Che Ra (isteri orang & juga ibu kepada 3 year-old Rifqi but why does she look like she's the youngest among us 3?), yours truly & the birthday girl ♥

Misi Makan-Makan Pagi Ahad

Assalamualaikum & hi!

It was a beautiful Sunday morning (every holiday morning is beautiful to me, fyi) & since yesterday was YDPA's Hari Keputeraan, Kelantan gets an extra cuti today. Yayyy!

I usually spent my weekends or holidays just staying at home but today was really an exception. Me & my friend, Diha were very ambitious to wake up super early today & have our breakfast at one of the famous kopitiams in Kota Bharu, Kopitiam Kita

The first time we had our breakfast together there was in April & we've been missing its Roti Titab so bad!

Anyhow, despite our plan to wake up super early, we only went to the LalaLand near 2 a.m, whatssap-ing each other, as if esok tak jumpa. Heh! So, you can imagine how hard it was to depart from our beds that we were so close to cancel our plan to having breakfast at Kopitiam Kita (it closes at 1.30 p.m) & go to Oldtown Wakaf Che Yeh instead. Tsk! -.-'

Nonetheless, we arrived at Kopitiam Kita at 9.20 a.m (I think) & it was so embarrassing that we thought that 'we are early!'

... because we were totally wrong!!

I mean, just look at the people queuing to get inside! It was soooooooo full house that I felt a bit scared. Hahah! Finding a parking spot was also a problem

A lesson well learnt; jangan dok menyibuk nak breakfast kat Kopitiam Kita on school holiday. Bagi chance kat tourists la kan? Motif sangat nak menyibuk sekali. Lols! Kesian dorang datang jauh-jauh. Mek tak pe, office mek 3 minutes je kot dari Kopitiam Kita

Feeling disappointed, we then changed our plan. Having breakfast at Restaurant Wau pun not bad. I love its cheese nan

Nasi lemak + cheese nan + air asam boi = happy tummy. Alhamdulillah!

Balik rumah then continue tidur for 2 hours. Oh nikmatnya cuti. Lols! Sekian misi makan-makan pagi Ahad

Be Strong Dear Friend :(

Assalamualaikum

Me & my friends are saddened by the news of the loss of our schoolmate's husband, Allahyarham Lans Koperal Fifeizzafey Mat Husin in an accident in Lahad Datu yesterday. When I first read/heard about it, it never occurred to my mind that it would happen to someone I know :(

We have no words to describe what we feel for our friend, Hidayah for the loss of her arwah husband. Mohon dear friends & readers to sedekahkan al-Fatihah & pray may Allah grant her the highest level of patient & strength, may she have a smooth & easy pregnancy (I heard she's not doing well. What's more with the overwhelming sadness & such) & be reunited again with her arwah husband in jannah. Amin ya rabbal alamin

We love you, Yah. We hope we could share the pain you've to endure now :(

Read about the news here, here & here

Me & some of my friends are going to visit her at her parents-in-law's house in Gaal, Pasir Puteh tomorrow evening & we're currently collecting some money to sedekahkan to her. I hope I won't cry tomorrow although I know it will be totally impossible... Al-Fatihah

I'm A Protective Mama Cat

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Had a dinner date with my friend, Diha at Oldtown White Coffee, Wakaf Che Yeh (bye Mc Donald's!) yesterday evening right after work

We spent more than an hour talk about everything under the Sun; about the good, bad, happy, sad, ourselves, him, her, them etc. It feels so good to see some familiar & most importantly, comfortable faces after long tiring & sometimes stressful hours at the office. Being me, when I laugh, I let it gooo let it gooo out loud. That type of laughter that comes from within. You know, the genuine laughter, not the control fake he-he-he one. Of course I kept it moderate, didn't want to cause both of us get kicked out from the kopitiam. Hehe!

I don't share my precious laughter with simply anyone, anyway. Even A.H hasn't had the privilege yet to hear it. Bahahaha! :P

Diha & yours truly
Teruk angat eye bags kittewww khennn?!

Diha & I weren't that close during our 5 years spent at Sains Pasir Puteh. We were more like 'hi & had some chats' type of friends once upon a time ago but she's always been a nice person & I like her. Our friendship started to blossom after we left school, just because we always went to our friends' kenduri together. Talk about being the minority because berapa kerat je pun from our batch yang stay & work in Kelantan

But I'm glad that she's one of the close friends I'll turn to, not only during lagha sappy times but also when I want to share my bits of happiness. In fact, Diha was the one who accompanied me to fetch A.H at the airport when he was here to meet my family & when A.H paid a visit to my house last March. As for Diha, I think the feeling is mutual as she literally recently appointed me as her Life Advisor, well in some aspects of life it is. Ahemm!

I've many circles of friends but a friend as nice as Diha, I'll ditch anything in the world just to make her happy! And it saddens me when recently there's somebody who made (I hope she's completely ok now) her sad. Don't you dare to mess with her, you! I'm like a fierce Mama cat protecting her kitten from any harm! >:-(

Entry ini macam tak jelas motif dia. Campur-campur tapi semalam makan banyakkkkkkkkk sangat! Diha belanja Dinner Set, Asam Laksa + Iced Lemon Tea + ABC + toasted bread. Dah la for breakfast & lunch dah makan nasik. Amboiii! Nafsu gajah sangat! Balik tu seriously rasa bloated macam dugung. Adeiii! Nasib baik pagi tadi stepped onto the weighing scale & berat masih maintain. Phewww!

Terima kasih Diha. Kita sayang awak bukan sebab atas point belanja makan semata-mata. Hahah! Kita sayang awak ikhlas kerana Allah Taala. Gittew! Next Friday kita pergi Pengkalan Kubur beli chocolates ok? *hugs* Then kita singgah makan mi cambo or satey ikan kat Pantai Seri Tujuh. InsyaAllah! #makansokmo #thingthatmakesushappy #girlsjustwanttoeat #nafsugajahmembawapadah

Of Awanis & Alqami

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

I'm now at the age where it seems like everybody is either busy getting married or busy expanding their families or both

*peluh besar*

I've to admit that I feel the pressure once in a while, especially from the constant nags from the Mother. I'm a type of 'the more you ask me about it, the more I don't want to talk about it' person & when I'm being bombarded with the same pattern of question almost everyday, I couldn't help but to get irritated. As if, my job hasn't given me enough stress already T_T

Anyhow, another secondary school friend of mine, Awanis tied a knot recently. Me & my friends, Baei & Diha didn't get a chance to attend the wedding reception on 1st February due to some reasons but we made some extra efforts to attend the majlis bertandang a week after at the bridegroom's house at Bunut Susu, Pasir Mas

I told you before that I love going to kenduri kahwin, didn't I? So, bila missed or tak dapat attend tu, rasa dia lain maciam sikit. Nak-nak lagi, when we were classmates from Form 1 till 3. Dari zaman innocent tak tahu apa-apa till dah kahwin pun cik kak sorang ni, of course I had to datang menyibuk to her majlis

 The wedding invitation card

Yours truly, the bride & Baei

We arrived at the majlis lambat sebab silap tengok map & bila sampai, the bride nak rest & solat, hence no more baju pengantin bling-bling. Hehe!

Awanis is currently a lecturer at one IKBN in Kelantan (ada banyak IKBN ke kat Kelantan ni? Sorry, cetek pengetahuan & malas nak google). During 2 hours lepaking at her in-law's house during the majlis, we had so many things to talk & laugh about that my stomach had a very good vibe of laughter! This girl hasn't changed a bit & with her witty attitude & funny self, I'm sure her students are going to have lots of fun in her classes! Probably the same type of fun we used to have when we were classmates for 3 years :')

To Awanis & Alqami,
I pray may your marriage is the beginning of a blessed & happy journey as a husband & wife and soon, as parents. They said (they la, sebab mek kan tak ada experience lagi. Lols!), marriage isn't all about happiness per se but I pray may Allah ease your affairs, dimurahkan rezeki & bahagia dunia & akhirat. Amin... ♥

Of My Ex Class Monitor's Wedding

Assalamualaikum & hi! Happy Saturday everyone!

So, another secondary school friend of mine has become somebody's Puan on 14/1/2014. Alhamdulillah. She was my ex class monitor for 3 years in a row; from Form 1 till Form 3. A type of class monitor who wouldn't tolerate nonsense & noisy anak-anak buah. Talk about being in a class of 28 girls with 1001 characters & who always had endless excuses from doing this & that :P

She's also a type of girl who can be serious, warm & funny at the same time. So, when we found that she never had a Fb account (not even Friendster or Instagram blablabla) despite working as a Telekom IT engineer, we didn't get surprised at all. Hehe!

Doesn't she look so cantik in yellow songket? ♥

The only proper picture we had with the bride & bridegroom. Haih!

To Ailyn & Hidayat,
Congratulations to both of you! ♥ May your marriage be blessed with a lot of barakah, rejeki & children. Semoga dipermudahkan urusan husband & wife and bercinta till Jannah. Amin... You two look so good & happy together, I can't believe you're somebody's Puan already. Sobs sobs! :')

2012, 2013 & 2014

Me & my girlfriends. 13 years & counting! ♥

Assalamualaikum & hi everyone!

2 more days left & hallo 2014! Spent some a few nights ago reading my entries posted in December 2012 & January 2013. Oh Allah, where have all the days, weeks & months goneee?

If you ask me how 2013 has been treating me? I would rate it 7/10

2013 been a good year although not that great but to put it as 'mundane', it's definitely not the correct word. Well, of course I still have a few things in my list which remain 'unticked' but what life is without twists & turns ayte? :) Anyhow, I'm grateful for every single good things that happened to me & my family throughout the year. Alhamdulillah

I'm thinking of making a pictorial summary for 2013, for self reminiscing purpose. InsyaAllah. See la how eh? Macam banyak je hutang entries; LL.B graduation day (Part 2) in November 2012, my admission to the Bar/Long Call in August 2013, a few friends' weddings etc

Keputusan PMR 2013 SBP & MRSM

Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP)

Congratulations to my super juniors of Sek Men Sains Pasir Puteh (SciPP) for getting the 16th place of all SBPs in Malaysia, 2nd in Pantai Timur & 1st in Kelantan. Alhamdulillah. Although tak ada top 5 or top 10 pun but this is good enough. From 29th place in 2012 to 16th place in 2013, you make us proud, girls! ♥

Ganung

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Went to K.Terengganu last Friday for a very short weekend getaway with my 2 friends; Baeiyah & Farah. It was a very last minute plan but you know that sometimes things are at their best when you just let spontaneity leads the way

My Mother's comment in the morning before I left to K.Terengganu;

Ma: Orang kalau nak bercuti pergi la New Zealand ke, UK ke, Australia ke. Ni pergi K.Terengganu je?
Saya: -.-'

It's ok! Baby steps! Hehe! Sebab biasa pergi K.Terengganu for work purpose & bersama boss, maka tiada chance to berjalan-jalan

Actually pergi K.Terengganu sebab nak teman Farah settlekan her lab matter apa ntah at UMT. She's currently doing her Masters there & plankton are her best friends now. Lols! So, sambil menyelam minum air la kekdahnya percutian ini. While Farah was at the lab stressing herself out melihat plankton melalui microscope, me & Baeiyah at our homestay, chillaxing like a boss. Hehe!

Ahli rombongan acara jalan-jalan habiskan duit
From L to R; yours truly, Baeiyah & Farah

Tenang Seafood Restaurant 2, Pantai Batu Buruk
Look at that sotong goreng. Potong la kecik-kecik at least -.-'

Went to Muzium Terengganu on Saturday morning. Macam lawatan adik-adik sekolah sangat
But it was fun & we really wished we had waken up earlier that morning :P

Terengganu State Museum Complex is so huggggggggeeeeeee. Due to time constraint, semua orang lapar & ada gastrik, we only managed to cover Block A. Tu pun it took us almost an hour & a half dah

One of the photos that caught my attention
Couldn't help but to wonder what type of life it was for them back then

A selfie with a handsome tall guy back there ;)

November 25

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

Things that have kept me busy in these past few days (bajet retis);

  • Attending 2 kenduris of my secondary school friends' on Friday & Saturday but sadly had to miss another kenduri in K.Terengganu. Will blog about this later whenever the internet at home is back in action. Sigh!
With the the pretty bride, Puan Diana

  • Watching Korean drama & to tell you the truth, I'm not even a die hard fan pung but gigih mek tidur at 5 something am pagi sabtu yang lepas walhal in the afternoon tu nak pergi kenduri. Gahh! Selain daripada gigih menonton The Heirs/The Inheritors (patiently waiting for Episode 15), I'm currently watching Flower Boy Next Door. Jambu sungguh tajuknya kannn, sejambu pelakon-pelakonnya juga *blush*

  • Getting obsessed over my nephew, Umar. He's 55 days old today & membesar bagaikan johan. Alhamdulillah! Selain daripada drinks a lot of milk & makes us change his diaper a few times in aday, he also smiles, talks & laughs a lot. Babies are so adorable, aren't they? ♥
 Umar & his Tok Ma
Why do I think he looks like a big boy already? Don't grow up too fast please, Umar?

  • Have I told you that we're adopting a new kitten? Meet the latest addition to our family! His name is Boboy (my Mom's choice of name although I really wanted to call him Simba.) The BIL's cousin has been so baik hati to give away Boboy to us. Biasanya dia jual RM400 for a kitten like this & thus, the reason why Boboy's so spoilt by everybody. Di harap Tommy tidak berasa cemburu like he always feels with Umar -.-'
"Lonely.... I'm so lonelyyy. I've nobody to play with meeeeee"

  • I had another exam related nightmare again last night. This time it was SPM Chemistry paper, my least favourite subject. It was a few days before the paper & I hadn't studied anything yet. Oh Allah, when this kind of nightmare is going to stop? It's utterly not fun at all T_T

Ok bye! I gtg! The boss has a matter at the court this morning & I've nothing to do but to continue watching the Korean drama sebab kerja dah siap. Yayy! Have a nice day everyone!

Of Asha's Wedding

Assalamualaikum & hallo! Happy Sunday, everyone! Tonight Kelate vs Pahang kan? Gomo Kelate Gomo!

Another close friend of mine, Asha has got married recently

When we were at the secondary school, she was one of the girls who was unpredictable. The type of girl who seemed to mind her own business only, who broke the school rules (duhh! Who wasn't? :P), good at sports (even represented Kelantan to national level for tennis) & cool. Nakal but not that extremely nakal. You got it?

But things changed. She's now an English teacher which is quite interesting actually because she knows her students' tricks all at the tips of her fingers. Contohnya macam "You think you're hebat than me, I learned that tricks wayyyy earlier than you, kiddos!" *flips tudung* :P

Anyway, her wedding reception was held at her house in Tumpat on 18/10/2013 & macam biasalah, my wedding companion ialah tak lain tak bukan Cik Baeiyah Zaid! *claps claps! Cuma this time, Che Ra & her son, Rifqi joined us too

Tiba-tiba terus rasa tua bila jalan dengan kawan yang ada anak aged 2 & a half. Like seriously, rasa tua. Macam mak-mak sangat T_T

With Asha, the bride-to-be (the one in the middle) a week before her majlis. It wasn't a bachelorette party or something, it was just a nice dinner where we talked, ate, laughed, ate, gossiped a bit, ate, laughed & the cycle repeated

The beautiful dais. Love the clolour combination. So bright & pretty!

Cheeky Rifqi! A'ah yes. He's taken. Taken by me! ♥

Us, with the newly wed, Asha & Huzaifah. Congratulations to both of you!

Me, Che Ra, Rifqi & Baeiyah

I just love attending my friends' wedding. Love to witness the happy look on their face & you can't help but to also embrace the 'love-in-air' mode :') Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless their marriage with a lot of happiness, barakah, rejeki & kids. Amin...

Lepas attend kenduri, tak terus balik. Spent a few hours at Pengkalan Kubur jalan-jalan habiskan duit beli coklat & had my first bihun cambo (I honestly couldn't differentiate between bihun soup & bihun cambo. Awat macam sama je?). On the way home, we decided that hari masih muda, maka marilah kita singgah ke Pantai Seri Tujuh, Tumpat

Bihun cambo

Aunty Sue senyum excited terlebih while Rifqi maintain macho

Nampak tak betapa ramainya orangggggg? I think, the last time I was there was probably when I was just 6 or 7 years old. And trust me, Pantai Seri Tujuh can beat PCB anytimeee. Except that masa nak balik tu, jam sikit lah

I miss my girlfriends already & my bf, Rifqi. Looking forward for the next sesi makan-makan

Gadis-gadis Jelita Tak Terperi

When I was in the secondary school (an all girls' boarding school to be specific) I purposely didn't attach myself to any certain circle of friends. No, I wasn't a lone ranger but I was (and still I am) a type of person who likes to be friends with anyone. I didn't like to restrict myself sticking to the same people, thus I could easily hop on from 1 group of friends to another

But of course they are some special ones among them whom we proudly called ourselves 'Gadis-gadis Kubang Kerian' for an oblivious reason. Lols! However, the name has been changed recently, as we realized that 2 of us aren't from Kubang Kerian. So, our group's new name at Whassap is;

Sorry, perasaan a bit. Kasi can la please? :P

And I just realized that I created the group on 14/2/2013. Not that we celebrate Valentine's Day but there might be something that had forced me to create the group on that day. Might be one of sad talks I often had with Baei & Dayah. Lols!

Btw, 2 of us have been off from the market already. Mimi was the first one who officiated the Puan title last April, followed by Yuni on the fifth day of Raya. It was my first day at the office after Raya, so you can imagine how resah gelisah I was while waiting for the clock to strike 1 p.m

Yuni's house is situated right before jambatan Pasir Mas, so the traffic jam was crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy -> to emphasize on how bad it was. It wasn't because I love Yuni very much, I would have made a u-turn & go back to my house instead

Enough with the bebelan

 Auwww! :')

Us, plus Mimi yang sedang beraya bersama di Sabah bersama suami tersayang

How thoughtful of the bride to provide that signage to her single friends. Tqvm!
And O Allah, please don't let me be the last person to get married among us T_T

To Yuni & Khairul,
I pray for you everlasting happiness sampailah ke syurga. May you two be blessed with a lot of barakah, rezeki & kids. Amin... And to Yuni, I know you work in Penang & now marry a Penangite but please don't forget your asal usul. Tak budu hilang di dunia, alright? And please don't forget us here, the Gadis-gadis Jelita Tak Terperi :')
