Celebrating The 36w of Pregnancy ♥

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

This post is quite outdated as I'm already in my 40w6d of pregnancy today. I've been keeping this post in my draft list for almost a month but you know, finding a perfect sitting position has been very tricky (and I may add, painful at some points) with this huge belly of mine. Hence, terkepam begitu sahaja

Btw, I was on my 36w of pregnancy 4 weeks ago, on 05/05/2017 to be exact. Wow! It really feels like yesterday when A.H & I were excited welcoming the final month of my pregnancy. Little that I knew, I already passed my EDD & have been pregnant for 40w / 10 month. Hmmm, not bad. And just because entering 36w of pregnancy is really a major milestone for me & out Little I, it deserved to be celebrated! Hehe! 💕

So, how & where did we celebrate?

First Day. 04/05/2017, Thursday

Copthorne Hotel, Cameron Highlands

When it comes to choosing a place to stay during our holiday, A.H & I aren't that type of adventure ones. Bila dah rasa selesa & satisfied dgn 1 hotel tu, we will keep coming & staying there. During our last trip to Cameron Highlands, it was our 2nd time staying at Copthorne Hotel. Situated at Brinchang, this hotel is very near to Cameron Squares (they have Teh Tarik Place, Old Town White Coffee, 7e, Watsons etc there), Kea Farm & jalan nak pergi Boh Tea Farm. 

We left Kota Bharu at about 10 am & arrived there ngam-ngam before the check-in time which was at 2 pm. 

Although we didn't get our requested room (the one with balcony facing the tea farm), we were still happy with what we got (instead, we got a room facing the hill with a hotel/apartment construction going on). Okay la not bad. Stay for 2D1N je pung

Didn't go anywhere on the first day, except to Old Town Kopitiam, Cameron Squares nearby for dinner

 The last holiday as spouses before we become a Family of 3 soon. InsyaAllah ♥

Second Day. 05/05/2017, Friday

While I had a good night's sleep last night minus a few times I had to toss around finding a perfect sleeping position (went to bed at 10 something pm. Bliss! #teamsukatidokathotel), A.H had some troubles to sleep & only managed to doze off at 5 am. Tu la, siapa suruh minum Red Bull & Nescafe 2 tin sekaligus kan?

We went to Sungai Palas BOH Tea Centre after the check out & had a breakfast there whilst enjoying a breath-taking beautiful scenery. Pergi Cameron Highlands but tak singgah sini, macam tak complete la kan?

We went to Kea Farm on our way home. Didn't go to Strawberry Farm sebab hari tu dah pergi. Lavender Farm pun tak pergi sebab A.H was drowsy (although I really wanted to. Huhu!) & nak cepat-cepat sampai Kota Bharu before it gets late. Plus, the crowd was getting merrier sebab hari Jumaat kan? Before jam ke ape, baiklah kita berunsur-unsur pulang

RM10 for 10 packets of vegetables

On our way home to Kota Bharu, we stopped by at A.H's workplace to have an ultrasound scan to check whether everything is okay, just in case. Risau jugak sebab travel jauh-jauh at my 36w of pregnancy

Alhamdulillah, everything was okay. Our Little I's gender has been confirmed once again (dah makin confident nak beli baju Raya! Yay! 🎀), amniotic fluid pun okay. Little I's estimated weight at 36w was 2.698kg & her weight last week at 39w6d was around 3.179kg

Not bad, Little I. I just pray that I could deliver her via normal delivery soon sebab emak dia ni kecik je orangnya. Huhu!My current weight is 56.4kg & I've gained about 11kg so far. This Friday, I'll be 41w pregnant & willy nilly, I've to go to the hospital to see if I've to go for induced labour or otherwise. Please pray for me, people!

A Short Trip To Kuala Terengganu

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

A.H & I had a short trip to Kuala Terengganu yesterday, 05/08/2016. Left the house at 6.25 a.m & reached there 2 hours later. It was not a jalan-jalan trip per se as the main reason why we were there was to meet A.H's friends to discuss a few things. The trip was all about A.H actually but I was dragged by him as a teman & as a reward for being his co-pilot (who slept on half of the journey go & fro. Dasar sleepyhead), we got to jalan-jalan later on. WoOhoO!

It was our 3rd time there as a H&W, after the 1st & 2nd ones last year when I had hearings at Setiu Magistrate Court. So, no trip to Muzium Terengganu this time as we had enough of it last time. Lols! #skemacouple #butwelovehistory

Bumped into my friend, Raudah at Pasar Payang. Of all other places, pasar jugak kan nak terjumpa? Mana nak cari si gadis manis semanis beliau yang pada pagi Jumaat dah keluar beli barang dapur kat Pasar Payang untuk masak lunch? Tell me nawww mana nak cari? #calonmenantudisukairamai

Had to cancel our plan for food hunting & had A&W take away instead. Since it was Friday, most of the shops & restaurants close at 12.30 pm for Friday prayer

Nonetheless, the trip to Terengganu won't be complete without visiting its beach. In our case, 2 beaches (Pantai Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu & Pantai Bukit Keluang, Besut) just because I couldn't get enough of visiting only 1 beach! ♥

My Mother told me that when I was little, I would throw tantrum & cried if we didn't stop whenever we were passing by the beaches. Fuhh! Nampaknya sedari kecil lagi sudah tertanam perasaan sukakan pantai ♥

After like 20 attempts of wefies because it was so hot plus silau & my shawl decided to go kembang in all directions. Thank you A.H for always being patient with me, posing for the camera & effortlessly looks more natural than me in the photos -.-'.

Reached home at 4 p.m & we only brought home keropok keping je as buah tangan. Lols! Sama je pung souvenir deknun & sini. Next trip will be this Thursday yakni balik kampung A.H. Please say hi if you see me (acting like a tourist) & A.H (acting like a tourist guide) at Jalan Tar & Sogo this coming Friday. Hehe!

 

Trip Balik Kampung 28-30/04; Summarized

Assalamualaikum & hi!

This is going to be a long entry, something which I haven't done for awhile. Lols! Entah di mana mendapat sumber kekuatan menulis panjang-panjang begini pun, sis tidak pasti

When I was single, lonely (Lols!) & loved listening to Sheila on 7 songs (still do a matter of factly), I always wanted to marry a guy who shares the same semangat kenegerian with me i.e he must be a Kelantanese guy

I had a few numbers of reasons that led to such preference. One of them was that I couldn't fathom the idea of traveling hundreds of km to balik kampung. I studied in Penang Matriculation College for my Science matriculation, in UiTM Kedah for my Pre Degree Law & in UiTM Shah Alam for my degrees & suffice to say that I had enough trips of balik kampung. I didn't always travel via plane so, spending 6 to 10 hours in the bus had become something I was used to during those days

So used to sampai bila ingat balik memori penatnyeh naik bas, rasa macam lemah tulang-temulangku. Gitu dia punya seksanya

But Allah swt definitely knows me better. Di sebalik keluh kesah tersebut, He knows that I'm quite a kaki jalan & if I were married to the guy who, maybe lives just a few km away from my house, the chance of going jalan-jalan frequently might be slim

So, He sent a guy who was born, raised & membesar in Kuala Lumpur. And apparently, who drives once in 2 weeks to his hometown. Lols! Tu la. Daripada tak nak travel jauh-jauh during Raya, terus dapat suami yang rajin balik kampung

A.H had a 3 day course at Hospital Tumpat last week. So, instead of sampai rumah at 11 p.m from Sunday to Wednesday, by 6 p.m he was already home. The night before balik,  I ajak him to Yubiso KB Mall to buy myself this

A.H: Bukan ke dah ade bantal dalam kereta? 

Saya: Tapi tu bantal lain. Ni bantal untuk headrest. Sebab nanti sedap sikit kita nak tido dalam kereta 

Semoga A.H terus tabah dapat co-driver pentido macam kita 

We usually began our journey balik kampung right after the office hours. I will drive from K.Bharu to his workplace in K.Krai, arrive there at about 6 pm & then we head straight to KL & arrive at the destination 6 hours later. But since last week A.H had a course, after office hours balik dulu rumah, mandi makan, main-main with my nephew, Umar & niece, Maryam etc, pukul 6.30pm baru bertolak dari K.Bharu. Hehe!

 Being a super duper punctual person A.H is, of course he didn't feel happy about the delay. Lols! Chill Abam chill! Just be chill, as chill as my new traveling partner (P/s: I think I should give it name(s) lah)

 29/04/2016, Plaza Tol Bentong

I can't remember where I started to asleep. Raub? Ke before Raub lagi? Hehe! But what a relief bukak-bukak je mata dah nak masuk Gombak! Sleeping has been proven to shorten the traveling duration! Cer try!

Arrived at about 1 something a.m. It was tiring, tiring by car but it's easier for us to move around going places. Maka, sis redha sahajalah #halfredha #sisjoking #okfinehalfjoking

A.H had a locum slot at a nearby clinic on Friday morning from 8 a.m till 12 p.m. As a clingy wife, of course I had to tag along! Or more on the reason that we had some errands to do later. Baik follow siap-siap, so that he didn't have to go back & fetch me at home. I've been tagging along for quite some time that I have my own room in the clinic. Lols! Tqvm adik-adik staff yang manis!

Nice room ayte?

Went to Hospital Melaka later that night as A.H's uncle, Pok Teh was critical & unconscious. Arrived there at almost 1 a.m & although I didn't get the chance to know Pok Teh neither chat with him, seeing him lying so weak & unconscious made me sad. Only 2 visitors are allowed to go in per visit

Md Shah Jantan, Bed 19, High Dependancy Ward, Level 2, Hospital Melaka

Pok Teh passed away on  01/05/2015, Saturday at 3.30 a.m. May Allah swt forgive his sins, put his souls among the righteous & grant him jannah. Amin & al-fatihah

We left Puncak Tamu Hill on 31/04/2016 at 12 pm, later that usual. Maklumlah sampai rumah from Melaka at 4.30 a.m, jadi sis akui sis tak kuat dengan panggilan tilam. Apatah lagi dengan A.H yang memang non-stop drive 

10 minutes leaving the house, A.H asked me something which didn't cross my mind. At least for that day. His question was "Nak pergi Genting tak?". Lols! The journey from Puncak Tamu Hill - Genting Highlands is about 30 minutes, maka sis "Yes" kan sahaja

The truth is, neither of us have ever been to Genting Highlands. We got lost there, didn't know or have any clue on where to go #nerdcouple We know that Genting Highlands is currently having a massive construction tapi ada orang cakap dah almost complete. Sebab tak pernah pergi, maka tak tahu la ada beza ke before & after, ke the place that we went to memang dorang tak ubah apa-apa?

Nonetheless, we, especially A.H enjoyed ourselves there with some shopping spree

Sales at Padini Outlet. What a rare sight to see A.H went wild here. Hehe!

A.H helping out this makcik foreigner to find the right size. Hmmm, she didn't think my Husband is a sale assistant, did she? 

 So semangat cari gerai jual Durian Fried which he said that he had read on the net cakap sedap. RM6 for 4 bijik & I failed to appreciate the taste. Opss!

 Not adventurous enough to try any of these. Mungkin juga akibat faktor usia

 Managed to grab a pair of Vincci flats that I've been eyeing for ages for only RM39 (from RM79)! Sayang nak pakai, simpan dulu kunun-kunun nak pakai for kenduri or Raya <- 1 of the lies I told myself. Lols!

Our first trip to Genting Highlands at the age of 29 & 30. Kesiannya lahai 

Menuju jalan pulang, about 4 hours later

Bertolak from Genting Highland at 4p.m & arrived in K.Bharu at 11.30 p.m. Nasib baik the next day Labour's Day, can rest-rest meneruskan saki-baki hidup cuti dengan senang hati

Next trip to balik kampung will be on 12/05/2016. InsyaAllah. This time ajak Ma & Abah balik sekali, shopping for Raya hendaknya

Balik Kampung

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Was back in A.H's kampung last weekend. The initail plan was to leave the house at 2 a.m on Thursday morning, 24/12/2015 but kita hanya merancang Allah swt yang menentukan. Bangun-bangun je dah 4.30 a.m & I hadn't packed any garment yet. Lantas menyebabkan A.H sedikit grumpy pada sepanjang jalan. Lols!

But he can't blame me though as I went bed later than him the night before. In my defense, my nephew, Umar slept with us that night. So, while preparing & waiting for him to sleep, I had to make sure that his favourite Youtube videos are on play (Umar's current favourite is Shaun The Sheep), his milk is ready & he has many pillows around him

Good night my boys! ♥ Now, where should I sleep?

We eventually left the house at 5.15 a.m. By 6 a.m sampai di Kuala Krai & solat Subuh there before we continued our journey heading to KL. I slept along the way btw dek kerana cuaca yang jo'on. ZzzzZ. Arrived there at about 12 p.m. Makan-makan, rest & zZzZ. We put the entire blame on the jo'on weather that had led to panggilan tilam. Hehe!

What a perfect weather!

A.H's family house is in Wangsa Maju but they just recently moved to Tamu Hill, a new housing area which is situated at the kaki bukit of Genting Highlands & near Genting Premium Outlet whose construction work has just begun. Drive for about 30 minutes then tadaaa! Welcome to kota keriangan! But seriously, from the balcony of our bedroom at night, we could see Genting Highlands shimmering lights. The weather is quite cool there, what's more with a very quiet & serene neighbourhood. The neighbours are starting to move in, tak sesunyi masa awal-awal pindah dulu.

Went to IKEA Cheras later that evening with the MIL & SIL. It was me & A.H's first time there. Nothing to wow about & for some reasons, I still prefer IKEA Damansara anytime

A mirror wefie once in a while won't hurt

"Hai Abam! What's with your masey purik face?"

Asked A.H to stand in front of these 2 carpets before I snapped a photo & sent it to my Sister for her reference. He wasn't that pleased obviously. Muka tidak rela jelas terpancar di wajah beliau. Lols!

We were actually rushing for dinner
But if we had time, I would probably get myself something from here! Love flowers! #mekbungo

Had dinner at Azizi Dolmat Mee Bandong at Medan Selera Kg Pandan. I'm not a fan of mee bandung, so I really cannot tell sedap ke idok but according to A.H, the taste wasn't as sedap as it used to

The next morning, I accompanied A.H to his locum at a clinic in Taman Greenwood Indah while waiting for my friend, Jannah to come for our short jumpa-jumpa. I had followed A.H to a few clinics where he did his locum & this is one of my favourite. It isn't a new premise but it's very clean & well maintained. I mean, just look at this examination room's door

 Jannah was about 2 hours late. Hahaha! But I didn't mind waiting for this girl ♥

Instead of meeting at a more proper place, kedai mamak pun boleh laaa akibat kekangan masa

A.H finished his locum at 12.30, I bid goodbye to Jannah (so many things to share omg!) & off we went to KL Festival City for lunch. Lepas tu straight head back to Kota Bharu

Every time lalu highway, A.H would repeat these lines;

"Kite suke la pemandangan ni" 

"Nak cakap macam kat New Zealand letteww" 

"Ye la. The view is very niceee"

I truly understand why people who used to study in NZ have a withdrawal syndrome with the country as it's known & has been voted as the most beautiful country in the world. Maka oleh sebab itulah everything about it is so special to A.H, hatta the best char kuew tiau pun beliau cakap dia pernah makan kat sana

Maybe, I can start adding some new lines to my daily du'a yakni about travelling to New Zealand something shopping something something. Aminnn
