I recently made an open confession that I like to stalk pretty & sophisticated girls on Instagram (but not the ones who post vain selfie photos with the same pose every freaking day sambil acah-acah duckface). Some of them are very inspiring while some of them just make my level of self confidence goes down the drain. Lols!

My choice of lipstick colour has always been bold red. The redder the better kekdahnya (but not to the extent that makes people get mistaken between lampu isyarat merah & my lips. Heh!). My other bae is The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick (Shade 101 Red Siren (Matte)). Give me my lipstick (either one) & I can survive the whole day, even without bedak

If I were to describe my fashion sense, the answers would be 'Simple' & 'Asal nampak semengah'. Lols! Definitely not someone who is opinionated on fashion & such

I love seeing pretty girls on Instagram (asal jangan berlebih sudahhh). 'Seeing' doesn't sound right, I think the word 'stalking' is better :P I mean, who doesn't like to look at pretty things, especially pretty faces! I'm easy to be wow-ed at girls who are not only pretty, but also well educated. Hence, the reason why I'm following some random girls who I found randomly on Instagram. It's kind of interesting to follow other people's lives on Instagram, especially those who seem to lead a different life than you. Like, different profession?

Anyway, stalking pretty sophisticated girls may have its bad effect on me sometimes. I mean, looking at them being so posh & pretty but me? Still a pretty much make-up virgin. I could be taken away by my own low self-confidence that I often said to A.H of how pity he is to be married to a woman who doesn't know how to doll up herself with make up & such

Of course he always had some nice words to console me because pardon moi, women love compliments & quite good at pishing for them just to make them feel better from times to times. I'm a woman so yes, I fall under the general rule with no exception :P #dilemaseorangwanita

Drops Of Youth

I've been using The Body Shop skincare products for almost 3 years & I started with Tea Tree set. Although my skin is not that sehalus & selembut punggung kulit bayi, it's at least shown some improvement. Alhamdulillah. 

My skin started to create problems when I was in the Law School. No doubt that those 4 years of BLS + LL.B had been very stressful that it gave me not only a set of panda eyes to be paraded around *bows* but also endless rounds of zits. It got worst when the final exams were drawing nearer as I hardly had time to pamper my skin, pahtu makan koksey-kokdey. Wahhh pamper gituu! Padahal pakai pencuci muka je pungg. Tak sure zaman-zaman dulu I also had toner & moisturiser ke tak? Sunblock apatah lagi

Sigh! I miss Law School. Tapi tak teringin pulak nak sambung LL.M for now 

Anyway, during  my recent visit to The Body Shop, I was advised by its friendly sales assistant to graduate from the Tea Tree set since my skin has no longer had that zits tumbuh bagaikan cendawan selepas hujan. Apparently, using Tea Tree set continuously may dry your skin & since I have passed that zits tumbuh bagaikan cendawan selepas hujan phase (Alhamdulillah & yay!) & now nak hilangkan parut-parut (notices the plural) je, she introduced me to one of The Body Shop's latest skin care ranges named Drops Of Youth

I've been using them for 5 days & albeit it's too early to say anything, here's my honest preview nonetheless:-

OMG! I really love this gel-to-water liquid care that I even look forward to apply it on my skin. It doesn't only make my skin feels moisturized but it also smoothens it. Kulit terasa lebih gebu tak semena-mena :P

I love its natural smell & its light texture. Although it's a bit oily when it's first applied on my skin but it gets better later on. Honestly, this is wayyy better than Olay Total Effect 7 in 1 Day Cream that I purchased a few months which was too oily & made my skin prone to zits. Tak sempat habis 1 botol pun when I decided to stop using it

I usually have it applied on my skin in the morning & before I go to bed.Tak boleh nak bagi any preview sebab as stated above, baru 5 hari pakai kan? But so far, I'm loving it

Beli 3 produk baru boleh diskaun 20% untuk setiap item; wahhh! Sungguh menjadi trick itu ke atas Kak Sue yah? -.-' But I'm looking forward to apply it soon. Tonight perhaps? InsyaAllah

Spent more than RM200 for these 3 items. A bit gelabah at first to justify to A.H whether I really need all these & my purchase is going to worth the money but since I've started to drag him into my beauty regime (free facial treatment at your service Mister!) I think he's become more understanding now. Lols!

I'm quite lucky in that department as my Mother has been our family Tailor since forever! Alhamdulillah! Putting the gelabahness aside, don't worry! Of Being Flu-bulous!

I've been down with fever for almost a week now. Thank Allah that I've passed the running nose phase now but the headache is still there. Can't really tell the cause of the pain though; whether it's caused by the fever itself or the toothache. Or probably both

My so called wisdom wisdom teeth which have been invading my gums since 2008 aren't doing good either, making me question myself why I keep refusing from seeing the dentist? Adakah secretly I'm afraid of dentist which I think I am. I don't like opening my mouth wide open for the world to see, not even to A.H sebab gigi kita tak cantik. What a crap invalid reason. Yang tak cantik tu la kita kena usaha bagi cantik lebih sikit yakni berjumpa dentist but whateverrrrr! *in denial*

And now it seems like A.H is in the same sick wagon as me. Kesiannya T.T

Today's flatlay is kinda special because it's something I don't get to do when I'm not sick

Not sure whether I got the flu bugs from my nephew, Abam Umar (who just celebrated his 2nd birthday on 01/10/2015. Alhamdulillah! ♥ Will definitely blog about this soon. InsyaAllah!) or because of the bad haze or kafarah dosa. Huhu! It's combination of runny nose, headache, cough, sneeze, tonsil yg membengkak etc. 

Nonetheless, I can't afford to take an mc now as I need to finish doing one important submission before this rabu. Ohhhh, this is when hashtag dilema seorang lawyer is really applicable T_T

For now, kita bertahan dengan meds jah which A.H took them for free from the Klinik Kesihatan (KK) he's working at

Diva Dua Alam

Hari ini Kak Sue ingin bercakap mengenai berat badan Kak Sue. Wah, kau ingat kau retis nak bercakap pasal berat badan kau? Biarlah, pada pandangan mata anak saudara Kak Sue, Umar yang berumur 1 tahun 8 bulan itu & adik-adik berbulu Kak Sue yang seramai 3 ekor itu, Kak Sue adalah diva mereka *flips tudung*

I remember telling A.H a few weeks ago that I want to watch my diet & drink more plain water. The reason being; I felt that I wasn't that fit anymore & I ate whatever that crossed my mind & my eyes which obviously had turned my body from not already fit to what-the-ni-badan-seorang-wanita-berusia-20an-ke-atau-sehelai-tisu-kenduri-yang-lembek-yang-digumpal-gumpal body? T_T

Oh, I also told him that I would exercise *moreeeeeee! So ambitious, I think A.H laughed when he read my Whatssap msg. (*More = lompat bintang & other funny movement while watching movies on my laptop. Kunun-kununnya exercise but as long as I sweat like crazy, who cares ayte? Hehe!)

I was born petite, weight less than 3 kg when I made my first appearance to this world & have been petite all my life. Even at 43 kg, there would be 2 balloons formed on my cheeks. Get it get it? -.-' My ideal weight is between 41 kg to 42 kg, albeit underweight

My ultimate goal is to keep my body fit & healthy which eventually will also help the body to slow down the ageing process. Manalah tahu selepas berjaya menjalani gaya hidup sihat, bila jalan-jalan di KB Mall atau Pasar Siti Khadijah orang ramai akan beranggapan 'Weii lokk, adik ni mari dengey (dengan) rombongey (rombongan) sekoloh mano ni? Bakpo jaley sorey-sorey (sorang-sorang)? Nok pokcik/mokcik/abe speh (annouce) sapo tinggal budok?" Lols!

Can't remember the last time I stepped onto the weight scale at home but before the Wedding, I was probably at my thinnest. Stress nak kahwin punya pasal

Just when I fefeeling kurus on the first photo, a friend of mine commented that I look pregnant on the second photo. I nervously laughed when I read her comment at Fb while trying so hard to not take it personally

But sentap mak nakk! In my defense, it was the baju that I wore, size 38. It was one size bigger! No, I'm not pregnant please? Or was it because of the shawl I was wearing?

Ataupun, mungkin juga bukan sebab the weight. Mungkin lebih menjurus kepada faktor usia. I'm not at my early 20's anymore, I know :'( Bak lagu Erra Fazira, "Kiniku pasrah dengan segalanyaaaaa~"

A.H, on the other hand, has his own keluh kesah about his weight. He claims that he's putting some weight too but honestly, that guy hardly has time to eat. Kesian dia

Young Yet (Feeling) Old

Assalamualaikum & hi! 

Every year, I always made a point to include 'to exercise more & eat clean & healthy' in my new year resolution. I know everyone wants to keep their bodies fit & healthy with minimal amount of exercise & no restriction in their diets but let's face it, at the end of the year not many managed to sprint to the finishing line

Don't worry, I'm also one of those ambitious people! *high paws*

Before my Wedding in February, I shed a few kg. Not because I was in losing-weight-before-Wedding marathon, it was mainly because preparing for the Wedding was quite stressful. I ate less, I couldn't sleep well at nights, I skipped my meals etc. I went for my final baju nikah & reception fitting about a week before Wedding, only to find out later that they were a bit longgar on the day of my Wedding. Ho ho ho!

And I always read about how the newlywed couple often gained weight after their weddings. I guess, that doesn't really apply to A.H & me as we're in LDR although A.H kept on saying that he's gained weight yada yada. Oh come on! That guy hardly has time for breakfast & lunch, so when la the perut wants to maju ke depan?

As for me, I was born petite & has always been petite all my life except some times in 2013 where I ballooned a bit & was at my heaviest! 49 kg! Nightmares!

I was always between 40 kg - 43 kg & with my height of 153 cm, I'm very comfortable with myself. Except that now, I realize that I'm no longer that fit. You know, those symptoms of fatigue, sleepy all day etc. Man, I feel like a granny with 10 cucus. I'm so easily zonked out & that's pretty embarrassing if I want to compare myself with my 68 year-old Father & my 60 year-old Mother who are much fitter than me! 

I know I must do something about the way I live, I eat & I sleep. Must always think of happy & +ve things! And yes, exercise. Even lompat bintang counts now!

No, I'm not pregnant, people. Not yet. Should have started counting the number of questions A.H & I have received from curious people whether we're already pregnant or not. We're just married for 1 month 1 week & 6 days btw. Kasi chance la please for this LDR couple -.-'

I went to KB Mall alone on Monday evening right after work to get some stuff. I don't know about others but I'm a type of person who actually enjoys being a lone ranger once in a while. But the -ve side of it is I tend to wander around & spend on unnecessary items, sometimes on thing(s) which was/were totally not even in the shopping list or in my mind

• A syok sendiri selfie whilst stuck in the traffic jam. Garang tak muka titewww? :P

• Had an early dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market. Being so hungry & couldn't decide what to order are a worst combination. Speaking of which, kadang-kadang rasa serba salah nak begitahu A.H or makan sedap-sedap sorang-sorang knowing that he hasn't/hadn't eaten anything from the morning & stuck working in the OT/ward(s). Kesian para doktor bekerja keras dalam kelaparan. Sobs! Apa-apa pun, hidup mesti diteruskan & makanan perlu dihabiskan. This Thursday, InsyaAllah we dine together ok Dr? ♥

• We just adopted 2 kittens recently (Any suggestion for their names because we keep recycling our cats' names. Boboy, Kitty, Comel & the name repeated -.-') sebagai kawan kepada our male cat, Abam Boboy & my nephew, Umar. Having additional berbulu members means the needs to buy extra cat food & pasir untuk pernyahtinjaan every month. But I don't mind, I take that as a sedekah for them & insyAllah, a little investment for myself too. Hihi! Get fat quick guys & be bff ok, you four? (i.e Abam Boboy, Umar & the 2 kittens)

• I first started using eyeliner in 2012 & it was during my semester of LL.B at UiTM. It was Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner & had been loyally using it ever since. Tapi hari tu gatal tangan nak try Maybelline Master Drama pulok. Bab mekap ni, memang mek harus akui mek agak noob. Ala-ala Ugly Betty gitteww. Semoga tidak menghampakan & tidak menambahkan drama dalam hidup mek. Jika menghampakan, mek bagi je kat Umar buat conteng-conteng dalam colouring book Upin Ipin dia. Heh!

The weather has been very hot lately. MasyaAllah. And being a pluviophile I am, of course I miss having rainy days around. Can't remember the last time I went to bed accompanied with the sound of rain. Dah lama tak hujan. I miss it :(

Speaking of which, I realize that I haven't updated this space with my flood story. My very own version of it, experienced first hand lagi. There are still some marks left around the house which always reminds us how bad it was. Can't believe it happened almost 4 months ago. Still remember how it felt seeing everything covered with flood around the neighbourhood

I shall keep the details about it in a special post soon. Soon tu bila ntah. Hehe!

Oh anyway berbalik kepada cerita hot weather sekarang, it's has eventually given an effect on my skin; mengelupas & it looks so unhealthy. Terus merudum rasa keyakinan diri, nak bagi gambar daily selfie to A.H pun malas. Luls! But yes, people. Please keep yourself hydrated alright? Drink a lot of water & stay indoor if possible. And don't forget your sunnies if you're outdoor to protect your eyes from panas cheng-cheng. Just like these 2 mokciks

Clothing For Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is getting near *counts* 2 days more actually! Although I'm a pure Malay, my fiance, A.H is 1/3 Chinese. So, please allow me to absorb the Chinese New Year spirit & semangatness. Hehe!

Like other festive seasons, some people may start shopping for new clothes. New baju, new pants, new purse & who knows, new teman hidup for anyone who is still single. Hehe! This is the time where people shop like there's no tomorrow! However for the individuals who are having a hard time finding time to shop for new clothing to wear on this coming Chinese New Year, worry no more as with the existence of online shopping, everything can be purchased with just a click of a button

When I was still a pokai uni student a few years ago *tries to forget the year I graduated*, online shopping was still something new in Malaysia.
