Tadi semangat begitu berkobar-kobar untuk mentransferkan gambar dari digicam ke dalam laptop, then half way through editing process, tiba-tiba rasa penat & mengantuk. Maka, terimalah gambar ini sebagai mukadimah

Balik dari solat sunat Hari Raya, terus ada tetamu kat rumah yakni tak lain tak bukan sanak saudara dari kelompok 7 rumah {we live next to each other, hence the reason why I've a close bond with my paternal relatives}. Asked them to self-service dulu {Abah & the Brother-in-Law as the tuan rumah & dapur. So cute! Hehe!} sebab kami 3 beranak mahu ke kubur yang terletak di sebelah rumah

Tadi tak sempat nak pakai baju raya pun sebab mek bizi menjadi bibik. Sampai ke malam dok pakai jubah hitam tu. Tsk! Tak apalah, esok masih ada. Lagipun, hari ini mek banyak bergelumang dengan air sabun jah

Need to hit the bed now, esok nak balik kampung Ma ziarah kubur arwah Mok & Che' & then head to Machang to visit Pak Ngah & Mak Ngah. I might as well consider Machang as my kampung, seronok balik sana sebab betul-betul dalam kampung :)

It's Coming To An End :(

1 of the things that I'm sure I'm going to miss about Ramadhan is walking to & from the mosque with my Ma & other neighbours at nights. Seronok jalan ramai-ramai while having some chit-chats, it reminds me to my childhood for some reasons ♥

A few days ago hujan lebat after habis terawikh, habis basah 1 badan but we didn't mind at all & felt so happy & blessed instead! Bukan selalu mandi hujan kan? Luckily we didn't demam :D

Semoga di panjangkan umur & di berikan kesihatan yang baik untuk bertemu Ramadhan yang lain, Amin...

Day 26 - Something That Means A Lot To You

My home, especially my bedroom means a lot to me. This is the place which I keep on yearning & missing whenever I'm away. I could spend hours alone in it without doing anything {ok I lie. I can sleep like the whole day di dalam itu. Lol!} Mine is nothing like a grande chambre, but I find tranquility inside, especially during rainy days, like now

Don't you just love being alone in your room when it's raining, reading a book or just staring into the gloomy sky? It brings back a lot of memories to me; some are sweet & some are just not worth remembering :)

Day 25 - Your Favourite Day

It's Friday! ♥ 

I always love Friday, especially during my secondary school years. Friday is a public holiday in Kelantan, so waking up in the morning to the message registered in our head that the school is off definitely made everybody happy! Come on, who doesn't like weekends ayte? :D

Tapi of course, we still had to attend Subuh prayer at the surau & kelas mengaji {for Form 1 & Form 4 students} later. Then, barulah boleh bersenang lenang di dalam dorm sambil tunggu parents datang visit with some yummy lauk pauk & tidbits :D 

Since I don't find any suitable picture of Friday on Google Images, so I'm going to put these pictures instead. These were taken at Medan Ilmu, Kota Bharu on 19 March 2011, where weekly kuliyyah agama is held & delivered by YAB Tuan Guru Dato' Hj Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, the Menteri Besar of Kelantan

Hundreds of people come & gather at one place which is something so serene to see. Put our political difference aside, as menuntut ilmu is a duty for every Muslim selagi hayat di kandung badan. And don't get surprised if you stumble upon some Chinese people who are also present there :)
  

Umar Is Back!

I've got my Umar back this evening. Yayyy & tqvm to the awesome technician! {who apparently had some says about my 4 year-old Umar *coughs* I don't blame him though, really. It's ok, Umar doesn't take it seriously, me either *coughs*}

Well, being me who's so easy being excited at something new, I got all jiggly! The first thing I did when I got my hands on Umar was to download Opera. I don't know about you but I always found that Mozilla Firefox doesn't really suit me, or is it because I'm a sucker for something rare instead?

Google Chrome used to become my primary internet browser for quite some times before it failed me many timessssss! With Opera, my life will never be the same again *suara iklan Panasonic*

What Have I Done You Wrong? {Siri Kedua}

Salam & hello, people!

This is my second attempt to blog via hp, after my post yesterday which is a big failure I may add. Penat mek mengarang berbaris-baris, namun apabila publish, hanya tajuk sahaja yang memunculkan diri. Lantas, menyebabkan mek telah mendownload opera mobile web browser yang baru #iklan

Anyway, something happened to my laptop yesterday afternoon. I was happily browsing the internet when suddenly Firewall Security Protection window popped up on my laptop screen & promoted its anti virus programme {since when they're into that business? Bukankah all this while sudah sedia ada in Windows?}

The next thing I know, I couldn't open any internet browser, be it Opera, Google Chrome & Internet Explorer & worst, couldn't launch any application & open any file at all!

O'oh, some mean viruses have decided to stop by & made my laptop as their playground, I suppose

Hopefully, the laptop {which hasn't had any official name even after 4 years under my care. Umar is a nice name for boy, so let's call him that. Hehe!} is in good hands of Kakak's office's technician. If not, I've to make muka kesian & ask for some advanced duit raya from the family & send Umar to 'nursery' T_T

It's how I see things around me, to take them in more positive ways & tell myself to stop feeling 'itchy' seeing other people leading a happy & perfect {literally} life whilst not feeling sorry for myself that my path isn't as smooth & great as theirs

Day 23 - Your favorite book

When I'm down & at the lowest point of my life, its words soothe me & remind me that I'm not & never alone in this world :) And hopefully, I'll never stop appreciating & admiring the beauty of its words even when I'm at the best moment of my life, Amin..

Di samping itu, I used to be a big fan of Philippa Gregory's novels but being the final year student took its toll on me & suddenly having a 'me time' where I could let my imagination runs free whilst reading the novel seems like a very rare luxury

I've 3 of the novels above plus 1 psychological thriller novel that I borrow from Faizal. Kena cepat-cepat khatam, buka semester ni kena return dah -.-'

Dah lama stop baca novel but awal-awal cuti hati tu try to get the momentum back. Currently trying to finish reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini & Mistress of Spice by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni & these are among a few novels that I borrow from my schoolmate, Ain Kamalaldin who just finished her studies at University of Edinburgh last April. Berkotak-kotak novel & buku beliau bawa balik dari sana y'all, rambang mata mek melihatnyaaa!

Tapi rasa tamak pulak nak khatam 3 sekaligus, walhal baca dalam kereta je kot?

Iftar At New Horizon Garden Restaurant

Had iftar with Kakak & her PTN friends at New Horizon Garden Restaurant, K.Bharu last Thursday. I was kind of a substitute to teman Kakak la lebih kurang as the Brother-in-law was away for a few days, attending a conference at UiTM S.Alam

Since it's just 5 minute drive from our house, janji 8:30 tapi 8:20 baru terkedek-kedek keluar rumah. Well, it was like more on my fault, anak dara bersiap haruslah ambil masa sedikit y'all. Bak kata orang Kelate, 'tunggu nasik turung pperuk' :')

Lauk-pauk sampai lambat, maybe tukang masak took their sweet times to have their iftar too in the kitchen. Hehe! Other than ikan siakap, we also had butter prawns, kailan ikan masin, mushroom soup & a few dishes I couldn't recall now *rubs growling tummy & tells it to behave*. The food rate; 5/10

Day 22 - Something You Wish You Were Better At

I've a personal belief that the key to a successful, composed & happy life is by being a good Muslim, inside out. Bila agama terjaga, come what may, we'll be able to thrive & strive :)

I'm not perfect, I made mistakes, I prioritize less important things whilst ignoring the utmost ones, I spend more times on internet but when it comes to reading al-Quran, malas yang amat, I didn't fully cover my aurat, I hurt people's feeling though unintended but was & am too shy to ask for their forgiveness & a long list of weaknesses that hopefully I'll be able to overcome them from time to time, InsyaAllah

Lagi satu, I wish I'm better at communicating & have a sufficient level of self confidence, instead of hiding behind my own shadows. Kakak said I'm too shy around people & always makes fun of me in front of her friends & relatives :(

Iftars (Part 1)

I've been meaning to blog about something else but I'm too lazy to get all the pictures transferred to my laptop. Maka, kita recycle sahajalah apa sahaja gambar yang ada

Lately, banyak mimpi pasal kawan-kawan; kawan jauh, kawan dekat etc. Adakah kerana hari tu hidup sunyi tanpa internet, menyebabkan otak ligat mencari idea untuk menghiburkan hati yang sunyi, lantas terhasillah mimpi-mimpi yang random?

I remember having a few Ramadhans away from home. Maybe bukan away sangatlah kalau nak di bandingkan dengan kawan-kawan & saudara mara yang jauh nun di perantauan tapi let me be lah this time. Mek pun mahu juga feeling ala-ala perantauan :')

Hence, a series of iftars I had with my friends these past few years. Cekidaut!

Went to 'From Palestine to Malaysia, An Imam's Advice To The Students' talk at APIUM with Anis & Hafsah. A very nice experience indeed, panjang sangat kalau nak bercerita tapi a thing for sure, hampir sahaja berbuka puasa di tepi jalan di tengah-tengah UM sebab sesat. Pardon moi, my first time there not sure about Anis & Hafsah. Nasib baik ada seorang abang tolong tumpangkan ke API. Tqvm! :D

Berbuka bersama kawan-kawan sekolah rendah/UiTM/sekampung yakni Wani MZ & Nik Noor Anis. Ibu bapa di kampung pasti gembira melihat tali persahabatan kami yang akrab ini

 With my 'Jom keluar. Lagi 5/10/15 minit aku datang amik ko' Farah Kher. Akhirnya berbuka di dalam kereta. Sungguh awesome, terima kasih Farah

Of Cats & Cars

It started with this status, posted by Kakak at her Fb early this morning;

Patutla masa sahur tadi dia tak join the other 4 makan, tidur dalam enjin rupanya {though Abah said it's impossible to sleep inside it, space yang dekat tayar la kot eh?}. Odie lompat keluar whilst the Brother-in-law driving the car to the office. Pandai je dia lompat depan masjid, beriman betul anak Mama. Huhu!

After reading the status, I quickly jumped out of bed to see Abah downstairs & told him what's happening to Odie. You should see my facial expression that time, I was worried sick like a granny waiting for her cucus to pulang beraya. Abah then went to the mosque & found Odie sitting facing the wall near one of the tiangs

Me & Ma then tried to put some ubat gamat {which works in healing our cats' injuries, based on our experiences handling such cases before. Wah, sound like doctors already. Hehe!} tapi Odie licked it off. Sigh! 

He's not feeling well since a few days ago, demam selsema & has blocking nose while sneezing non stop. Selera makan pun kurang. Sebab hidung dia blocking, so dia bernafas guna mulut & tercungap-cungap gasping for air. And now kulit hidung dia, dahi & mulut macam terkoyak. They're bleeding & he looks so sick & scared. Now he's sleeping on the sofa. Poor my baby :(

Malam tadi dia nak follow saya pergi terawikh, nasib baik Ma nampak dia. Dah la banyak kereta masa tu. Nak tercabut jantung saya melihatnya, so I quickly dukung-ed him before di lenyek kereta

Malam ni all 5 cats have to sleep in their hostel back {curfew starts after Maghrib} because we couldn't afford to lose another cat after already losing 4 within a month. Kakak suggested that we bring him to the vet, sekali dengan si kecik named Adik slash Butak yang sakit mata. Inilah salah satu dari dugaan di bulan puasa T_T
