Before + After Project #5 (Edited Version)

Remember my previous post on my friend, Na's blog?

I did some changes to Na's blog header & background because the previous one, according to my brain & my hormonal thoughts, looked so empty & tak siap. Took the blame & lack of creativity all to myself. Limited editing tools/software, what else? Need to instal more fonts lah after this -.-'

Edited the font, adjusted the image & darkened the background a bit, from this;

So, I shall wrap up my Before + After Project #5, I guess? But Na, if you want me to add or remove or touch up anything, just let me know. I'm always open for any suggestion & criticism, InsyaAllah :)

I would like to remind it that this is just a charity work {sounds so wrong, eh?} I'm doing for my blogger friends for the sake of sharing my interest, thus it's free of charge. InsyaAllah, mek akan cuba buat the best. Tapi like I said several time before, cannot lawan la those yang pro sebab mek taraf beginner jah. Hehe!

Before & After Project #5

Received an e-mail from my blogger friend, Azlina Nana last month, asking me if I can revamp her blog

Of course cannnn! :D

After all, I definitely have nothing productive to do at home. So, might as well do something that can make my brain work other than Facebook-ing, playing The Sims 3, napping {never had enough *coughs*}, watching Korean dramas, looking after my cats, blog-walking etc. Tak sangka ada lagi orang nak interested with my Before + After Project. Tqvm for the support, people! ♥

Na wanted something vintage & of a combination of Tiffany blue, pink & white. Honestly, it wasn't easy. Pink & white aren't alien colours to me {Hello! Big fan here! *waves*} but to blend all the three colours into one blog, that was quite challenging. It took me about 1 day to complete revamping it but I enjoyed it nonetheless :)

The first header that I made but working with Tiffany Blue wasn't easy. Pink loves me more ♥

So, I peeled off my creative orange {sedapnyo laaaa minung Peel Fresh panah-panah ni} & searched for some pink chairs/sofas from Google images. Found a lot of cute pictures but this one, undoubtedly, I fell in love with it for some oblivious reasons. Bimbo much? Tapi pink sofa ni jatuh bawah kategori vintage ke? -.-'

The trickiest part, as usual was to find a suitable background that suits the header. I wanted something dark, say black but black & white polka dots are too common kan?

Btw, these are before & after pictures of Na's blog & honestly, I didn't do much changes except for the header & background. Limited editing tools, people & I'm no pro either. I was only armed with Picasa & Paint, since Picnik dah tutup kedai. Adobe Photoshop memang sudah lama mek tinggalkan

It's quite simple, I know but look at that pink sofa. Doesn't it make its own statement, like res ipsa loquitur? Ke mek je yang syok sendirian? Hehe! Btw, its background hasn't been finalized yet. Thus, any idea is greatly welcome :)

Before & After Project #4

It started with this e-mail,

 Auww, I'm touched :') 

The e-mail sender is Kak Ima, my secondary school senior slash ex-doormate for 3 years slach The Duchess of Mache. Mache is Machang btw, one of the jajahans in Kelantan. Hehe! The last time we met was probably in 2005. That was 7 years ago. Kalau ada anak, dah masuk Darjah 1 dah ni

This fourth Before + After Project took longer to complete as compared to the other previous 3. Both of us; me & the blog owner, Kak Ima were busy holiday-ing. So, there were delays in terms of commnication. Hehe!

For the header, Kak Ima wanted a tiara to go along with her blog's name, The Duchess' Life. The tiara was originally gold in colour but mek edited a bit to ditch out that seriously royal-ish {is there such word?} look. As for the blog theme colour, she requested for something pastel but the background was purposely left untouched for a while since I couldn't find any matching background

 After {Part 1}

In my recent e-mail, I had attached a few other backgrounds for her to choose. And look look, purple & white polkadots background wins this time {again} as seen in the picture below. This is another purple blog after Rayyan's & Haizi's, so should I declare that purple is the new pink now? Hehe!

After {Part 2}

Anyway, this is my last Before + After Project I managed to get my hands on before the new semester begins on this May 5. Walaupun hasil kerja mek tidaklah segah web designers yang lain {with limited editing tools & all}, at least, sepanjang penglibatan mek dalam arena Blogspot ini semenjak 2007, adalah juga perkara berfaedah mek dapat share dengan orang lain. Alhamdulillah

Before & After Project #3

Done with Before + After Project #3. Alhamdullilah!

It took me about 3-4 hours {plus hours of searching for suitable materials} to finish editing Haizi's blog & I'm glad that she likes it :) Her favourite colour is purple, so I decided that black, white & purple will be a nice combination for her blog. What do you think?

This is second purple blog after Rayyan's. All this while, I thought most of the girls like pink. I'm so wrong!

Haizi's a friend I've known since Penang Matriculation College days & also a member of Drama Club where I was the Vice President {which explains the drama queen me. Lol!} & Haizi was one of the main actresses. Woots! She's a lecturer at UiTM {and here I'm still doing my Honours. Sobs!} & orang dia comel putih gebu :)

To Haizi, congratulations on your marriage once again & may you be blessed with a never ending happy life with your Sultan & many cute smart kids in the future. Amin... Auww! Puan sudah kawan saya ini ♥

Before & After Project #2

For Before & After Project #2, I was honoured to be given a chance to do some changes to Rayyan's blog. She wanted something simple with some elements of purple. So, what I did was to have that light purple background installed & a picture of some colourful flowers & a bee as the header

Rayyan was my secondary school junior back then in SciPP. Orangnya tinggi lampai, kalah kakak seniornya ini. Mek ingat lagi, masa first day Rayyan & her batchmates datang register, mek & Lisz pergi kacau-kacau dorang dalam dorm. Kitorang menyamar jadi adik-adik Form 1 la kunun-kunun tapi memang tak sesuai la jadi Form 1 kalau awal-awal dah banyak mulut macam tu kan? Terus perbuatan kami berjaya di hidu. Jatuh saham kami sebagai kakak-kakak senior Form 4 -.-'

But the good thing that came after is the sisterhood! ♥ I've to admit that I wasn't that friendly in school {no adik angkat, kakak angkat etc. You know, things people usually do at all girls' boarding school} but Rayyan & soon-to-be-a-Dr Atiey *waves at her* are my exceptions :)

Rayyan's currently studying at University Al-Azhar, Mansoura, Egypt & I pray the best for her life, Amin...

Before & After Project #1

Assalamualaikum & hello, people! ♥

It's been such a productive day for me. Apart from baby sitting a 7 month-old baby girl, doing house chores, menjenguk anak-anak kucin, men'grooming Tommy & anak-anak kucin etc, I had spent some times on editing Ejatie's blog; searching for the materials, playing with MS Paint, MS Office Picture Manager & Picnik. Rasa malu nak guna term 'blog make over' as I didn't do much changes there & mek memang sengaja tak instal Adobe Photoshop sebab Umar kan dah uzur *coughs*

Ejatie's my Brother-in-law's cousin anyway. Currently studying in UIA Kuantan & I can assure you that she's single :P

Well, I told you. Idok la banyak beno changesnya except the header & background. Mek buat setakat yang mampu. Nonetheless, it still makes me feel happy. Alhamdulillah :D Tak sia-sia mek promote hari tu, nasib baik ada jugal customers yang berminat. Lol!

Next project is on my secondary school's junior's blog, Rayyan :)
