I'm probably one of those people who signed up to LinkedIn by curiosity, not because I'm searching for some better job opportunities or something. I was like, 'Man, what is this LinkedIn? It looks like FB during one of its early days but it also looks like a place where a bunch of smarty pants gather online & flex their achievements & all but I'm signing up anyway!'

The day I signed up was also the day I added another point to my low self esteem record. Oh, the pressure T_T

I mean, some of the positions those people are in; I never heard of them. And were they really born to just study all their entire life? So many academic qualifications! And here I am, only have 2 law degrees & haven't had any plan to do my LL.M, let alone crack my head to do PhD. Gone those days when I was an innocent 12 years old & had 4 ambitions written in my biodata; doctor (too bad I didn't like Biology & Chemistry and yup, I didn't get all As in my SPM), lecturer (atas sikit daripada cikgu but alhamdulillah, tak jadi cikgu if not I don't know la what would happen to my students with my iman senipis bawang ni. Probably would get the Cikgu Paling Garang Award every Teacher's Day), scientist (again, jokes on me) & lawyer (well, at least I made it!) 

Nasib baik tak pernah teringin nak jadi bomba ke, polis ke? Maklumlah, tinggi pun tak cukup

And now, although not religiously, LinkedIn is just another platform for me to stalk some people I know. Not me being busy body but just to ... well, getting to know them professionally :P

Bought this pink dream catcher during our holiday in Kuching last December

I don't believe in such superstitious thing that if we hang this thing in our room/house, it will filter out all our bad dreams & only allows good thoughts to enter our mind. Wahh! Seney la kalu gitu! I solely bought it just because it looks uniquely sweet & cute for my car. Despite its macho name, my car #alex944 has been accessorized with some very pink stuff, much to my Husband's dismay. Lols!

Hi!

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

I'm now all alone at the office. Had an early lunch with my former classmate, Nicky (who was in the town for a court matter) before sending her off at the airport. Feels good to meet & spend some times with her, a nice & genuine girl who I've known since my first year at the Law School. She's doing great, working at one of biggest firms in Malaysia & is getting married in December, insyaAllah. So happy for her! ♥

On another note, work is good. As mentioned in the previous post, I'm doing conveyancing now. No more going to the court, donning in black & white. Rindu the adrenaline rush nervous nak appear before the Judge or Junior/Senior Registrars but after ingat-ingat balik, tak pelah. Lemme just enjoy dulu bertapa kat firm. Doing conveyancing isn't that bad except that I'm a bit slow at typing I think. Typo is unavoidable sometimes. Lols! And I wish that I had more time to update this space but it's not easy to blog at the office especially when your room is separated with your boss' room with a glass wall. Lols!

Anddddd... my 2y6m nephew, Umar conquers my laptop at home like there's no tomorrow. He's been watching too much nursery rhymes on Youtube that they've also become our lullabies as well -.-' Tapi tak pe lah, at least he's catching up & learning a lot of new words/vocabs every day which is impressive. He knows the difference between ship & yacht, something which 2y6m Suria didn't get to learn 26 years ago #tua #indenial

Marriage life; A.H is doing fine except that he's not been in a jovial mood these days sebab hp rosak cannot receive & make calls & only can connect to internet when there's wifi. Pity guy. Malam ni kita beli hp baru, alright?

December has always been one of my favourite months

When I was a kid when both of me & my Sister were still at kindergarten & primary school (we're 5 years apart), I remember our Decembers were very fun & cold. It was always raining heavily on Decembers & for some reasons, it was much colder during those days. The air was thickened, moisten & cold that there were days that I even skipped taking bathes. Lols!

But being home with the people who were closest to my heart made everything felt warm. Nothing can beat the coziness at being home, wrapped in my favourite blanket while watching cartoons on TV. No school, no kelas mengaji & nothing else mattered at that time. There were times we would sneak out of the house to mandi hujan & would only stop when we started to shiver or our lips turned blue

I always have things for rainy days. It's a kind of feeling I couldn't exactly find perfect words to describe. The feeling of serenity & at ease

• 30/05/2015 - Went to My LL.B classmate, Aleeya's wedding in Ketereh with another friend of mine, Intan. The theme was Arabian, hence the bright colours of the dress/suit of the Bride & Groom & also the dais. So beautifully bright! Anyway, congratulations, Aleeya & spouse! ♥ I was so happy to see another close friend of mine has become somebody's Mrs now, Alhamdulillah. I pray may her halal reunion of love is nothing short of happiness, everlasting barakah & rizq! InsyaAllah

• 30/05/2015 - Meet our 2 new adopted kittens which have been with us for about 2 months & a half. Ke 3 months dah? Surprisingly, these 2 still don't have any official name yet. Lols! My 20 month-old nephew, Umar loves them so much that he literally squeezes, hugs & kisses them! Ohoi, redha je la kucin-kucin itu diperlakukan sedemikan rupa. Sayang betul dia

• 07/06/2015 - Saw these cute house at the neighbouring kampung. Love the pink colour, reminds me so much to air bandung. If I'm not mistaken, the old lady who lives in the house teaches kids Al-Quran

• 07/06/2015 - I received this huge glass bowl as one of my wedding presents from Ms/Mrs/Mr Unknown (thank you very much! I love it!) & decided to put my humble collection of perfumes, body mist & lotion on it. I might be biased but I think my vanity looks nicer & more organize now. Hehe!

Of Blog Update & I Dun Wan To Lose Chuuu!

How are you everyoneeeee? *tries to be cheerful despite being so malas at work* I miss this blog & I have so many things to share but tak tahu where I should start. Despite being in the LDR, marriage still keeps me busy. Busy dengan apa pun tak tahu la. Hehe!

I realize that this blog has been wearing the same background for months & if you know me well, I'm a type of person who can't see things untouched for long. I need a new arrangement or look once in a while. Kesian blog ni sedikit terabai

I haven't seen my girlfriends for 2 weeks, yakni after marriage & I miss them. I miss hanging out with them, cakap-cakap & laugh at anything random. My happy pills definitely. People always said that marriage would change people which may be true in some aspects but I don't want to lose my friends! T_T

• 15 days left before the Wedding & I haven't decided on the days of leave that I'm going to take for my wedding; whether 7 or 8 or 9 working days
• Dah imagine penat nak kemas before & after the kenduri
• Went to the Court this morning & a kind kakak lawyer commented on how thin & tired I look now. Mek dah la berjiwa tisu lately, maka what a 'Kak F jemput la datang majlis saya! Hihi!' turned to a heart-to-heart talk with her. I seriously need some of those intimate talks lately, especially with people who understand the ground I'm standing now; rough
• Been trying to convince anyone that I'm not on a before-kahwin diet, it's just that I'm always not in the mood to eat. Boleh? Lols!
• Dah lama tak ada peaceful weekends where I can golek-golek until afternoon
• Rasa macam nak pergi holiday. Alone
• Rasa macam nak makan kat Seoul Garden. Senang cite, lately I tend to spend lavishly on food. Baru 2 days ago I had sotong celup tepung, now rasa nak lagi. 2 weeks before that pun dah makan kot? This is the inner stressful self speaking, I believe
• I realize that I've a lower tolerance with rude people. I just can't
• I don't live to impress people
• Merangkak pergi kerja, literally. Rindu tidur yang lama serta berkualiti

• 29/11/2014 - My cousin's akad nikah & reception. Congratulations Kak Ti & Ustaz Taha! We're so happy for her! After going through a lot of things, she totally deserves this happiness & we pray may it last eternally & be blessed with a lot of barakah & rizq. Amin

• Me & Baeiyah went to Pasir Puteh after zuhur prayer to attend our Scippian batchmate's wedding, Ain Nadiah & her Perakian spouse, Azam. Jam hari sabtu sanggup kami redahi demimu Ain (although Baei was slightingly frustrated sebab booth aiskrim tutup as we arrived. Lols!) The last time I met her was a few years ago, when she had just returned home after finishing her studies at Uni of Aberdeen, UK. Dah kahwin dah mek Ain. Dulu-dulu kat hostel tido peluk teddy bear je (it was so big!), sekarang dah ada cik abam dah! Level up! Congratulations! :P

• Singgah sebentar at our alma mater on our way back from Ain's house. Hajat di hati nak singgah solat Asar dekat musalla sekolah but since the girls are now on the school holiday, the school compound was very quiet except for the football match that was happening at the field. Took the chance nonetheless to go to the main school buildings & took a lot of pictures/selfies in & in front of the empty hall. Can't remember where I sat during SPM but being there surely bought a lot of memories. I miss school :(

• 30/11/2014 - Giving feels good, spending feels even better (but not after I realized how much the price hiked from the last time -.-') I've been using The Body Shop products for a bout a year & a half. Although reaching flawless skin level still far from the sight, at least I've got to see some +ve changes to my skin now. I recently graduated from using the Tea Tree set & now using the Seaweed set

I found back my old The Sims 3 cd while kemas-ing my Sister's room last Saturday

Apart from discovering other treasures under her bed *tries not to be judgmental*, this was the greatest discovery of all! Oh, how long I had been longing for you! *hugs the cd tightly* In fact, I was so close to buying a new cd last 2 months dek kerana rindu overload nak main. Nak-nak lepas dapat tahu dorang dah release The Sims 4 last September

I shall seriously consider buying The Sims 4 soon & I already found one shop at KB Mall that sells it. Dengan itu, mek berdoa semoga laptop mek yang berusia 3 tahun itu masih berkuasa kuda supaya dapatlah mek fefeeling jadi protégé rancangan Deko Deko Bersama Eric

Anyway, I know someone hasn't been feeling happy about this. Hehe! Sorry A.H ♥

Winter In My Head

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I realized that I rarely openly talk about my work lately. Not that I don't have anything interesting to share but when you're so used to your work, nothing is that exciting anymore. Awal-awal dulu je rajin (dan mungkin juga jakun) nak selfie bagai at the court, nak cerita itu ini namun sekarang ini semua itu ibarat tiada apa-apa lagi *flips robe*

I always have this love-hate relationship with my profession. Thinking of furthering my studies in history or archaeology. Tak pun amik short course masak-memasak bersama omma di rumah. Mungkin itu lebih afdhal memandangkan lagi 3 bulan & 1 minggu sebelum bertukar status *ketaq lutut* InsyaAllah

Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ ada jalan. Apabila perut lapar, di situ ada usaha untuk makan, tidak kiralah fast food atau apa jua makanan. Makan usah terlalu memilih, bersyukur dengan apa (skill) yang ada. Daya survival perlu ada tapi sampai bila nak mengharap skill memasak yang ibarat hidup segan mati tak mahu itu? Takkan nak biarkan A.H tapau food dari cafe hospital hatta selepas beliau berkahwin? Ini bakal menjatuhkan lagi reputasi saya yang suam-suam kuku ini T_T

Assalamualaikum & hi! 

After having so many series of love-hate relationship with TM Streamyx for the past 7 years (or +), my Sister & I finally decided that it's about time. It was just so happened that the Streamyx bual hal when the Sister was busy with the moving out process to her new house. So, she went to TM Point to terminate the service & we were left wifi-less for a few days

But being me, I really can't just rely on 1 GB of mobile internet quota T_T My friends at Whatssap, Instagram, this blog & Fb need me. Or the other way around. Whatever!

So, I fixed the self-created problem with this! (Or rather, A.H helped me to fix my problem as he brought it all the way from KL. Merci beaucoup mon fiancé!)

8GB of internet quota for RM65 per month (or RM5 off if you're DiGi Postpaid suscriber like moi), I think it's really worth the money (also available for 1GB (RM25) & 4GB (RM45)). I was once a Maxis, Celcom & Clixters costumer but from my humble experience, DiGi's coverage & its internet speed is way better than other telco

What I like most about it is its practicality. You can bring the portable WiFi hotspot anywhere you go, no wire attached & you can share the internet with up to 10 different devices, including laptops & tabs. It's great for someone who's always on the go but with limited mobile data (like me. Eheh!). Since it's very light, you can just simply keep it inside your handbag without putting extra weight on your shoulder. The battery (which is rechargeable & also comes with in-car charger) can stand up to 10 hours per day or probably more depending on the usage

Went to this kedai pengantin in the town with the staff, Sharifah B while waiting for our tapau-ed food. I always love going into this type of kedai, even long before I decided to marry A.H (poyonya ayat :P) When I was a child, I used to fantasize what I wanted to buy for my wedding whenever I was in any kedai pengantin

"I want this, this, this, that, the one over there blablabla" said 8-year-old me

Fast forward a few years later & 3 months 4 weeks 2 days & 8 hours away from my wedding, I'm still having a self-created confusion on what I want for my wedding. I'm a fan of many (bright) colours, so I don't simply have one most favourite colour. But having so many colours combined in one wedding could be a disaster & I definitely don't want mine to be one. Nauzibillah

Berbalik kepada cerita masuk kedai kahwin tadi, of course I didn't leave the kedai empty-handed. Saw some stacked plastic bags filled with some pretty & colourful things inside & being someone who loves many (bright) colours (as mentioned above), I couldn't help but to ask the sale assistant to take a look at them

One thing led to another & I eventually brought this baby home, my RM1.00 mirror who is also the latest member to my very humble make-up bag. Hehe!

My Busy Weekend

1. 10/10/2014 (Friday) - Kursus Pra Perkahwinan at Kompleks Balai Islam, Kota Bharu. I attended the 2-day course with my friends, Intan, Aliaa & her sister, Fatin who kept me accompanied throughout the course. Pheww! Will definitely blog about this later, InsyaAllah
2. Dropped by at Pasar Malam at Kubang Kerian (in front of HUSM) on the way home from the course day 1. If it wasn't because of the Mother's nasi lemak calling my name at home, I would probably have spent more! Bought apam balik, air cendol & air lai chi kang = RM4.00
3. Saw this cute pair of trouser at Mydin Mall. Would have bought if my anak saudara is Umairah, not Umar
4. Happy (belated) Doctor's Day to all doctors-to-be, HO & MO all around the world! (especially to A.H who has signed his life to me, his forever-annoying patient. Hence, his picture sebagai gambar hiasan) For their hard work, long time spent at hospitals with patients rather than families at homes, keluh kesah, jonah etc, may Allah swt reward them with great health & jannah. Amin
5. A.H's father arrived from Mekah on the Friday night. It was a coincidence that the Sister was also at KLIA that night, waiting for her flight to K.Bharu. So, Kakak was the first person who greeted him, instead of A.H & his family. Hehe! 
6. 11/10/2014 (Saturday) - Done with Kursus Pra Perkahwinan! Alhamdulillah & yayyy! (and I desperately need to qadha my weekend)

Tiring Weekend

I woke up this morning with some dark clouds parading around my head & a set of eye bags the size of bola ping-pong. So attractive!

Not a great way to start the day, especially when it's Sunday, the first day of work & I had a busy weekend drove here & there pergi kenduri & settlekan a few marriage preparation stuff. Marriage preparation can be tiring. Ok scratch that. Marriage preparation is tiring but Alhamdulillah that we managed to tick off a few things on the list

Will be flying to KL on Thursday afternoon for a court matter at the Court of Appeal, Putrajaya, & will only be back to Budu Land on Sunday night, InsyaAllah

Honestly, that's not the main highlight of the trip sebab court matter pagi Jumaat kejap je (hopefully). Hehe!

I remember having countless of uneasy & mixed feelings whenever I had to go back to uni after the breaks. But now since I'm totally done with uni (Sigh! Feeling so old) & settled down in my hometown, trip to KL is definitely something I'm really looking forward to :)
