Assalamualaikum & hi!

Despite having some pending work to do, I curik-curik some time tadi to read some of my blog posts on my wedding preparation & oh my, what a memory!

You may read about my journey as a bride-to-be here. It includes almost everything about my wedding preparation from choosing the wedding planner, wedding photographer, wedding invitation cards, food caterer etc. Banyak lagi yang tak sempat update but I shall, from time to time blog about my Wedding preparation & the big day itself. InsyaAllah

Need to do them asap before basi & sementara masih ingat. Hehe!

I have to admit that there were some of the things on my Wedding day that weren't the way I wanted them to be. Deep down inside, I know I'm perfectionist (combined with OCD!), I want everything to be perfect or at least look perfect but when it involved many parties & organizing a wedding after your house was hit by a massive flood at the end of December (about a month & a half before the Wedding in February), I know some things are beyond our control no matter how much we had prepared for it

It was nothing major honestly but, being me, I still can't get it out of my head. It could have been better tapi tak pe lah. Yang penting perkara-perkara wajib dah settle kan? Alhamdulillah :)

Wedding Photos

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I just received our Wedding photos & cd from our photographer, 10Bucks Photo yesterday evening. Actually dah lama siap but baru semalam sempat amik. Hehe!

Looking at my wedding photos, especially me in the akad nikah & reception dresses gave me 1001 feelings. Honestly, if I could turn back time, I would change a few things on that day to satisfy my OCD self. Sigh! Does it only happen to me? Or some of the brides memang akan ada some things yang they wished they could redo them on their wedding days?

But yeah, benda dah lepas. In fact, A.H & I will turn 3 months on this Friday. Alhamdulillah

I usually had many drafts waiting to be published in my Blogger Dashboard but nowadays, I almost have none! I don't know whether it's a good thing or not but it actually shows that work at the office has restrained me from blogging. Or perhaps, I've been restraining myself to write sebab kalau write pun banyak berkisar kepada cerita selepas berumahtangga. I don't want to bore anyone, so I'll keep it as minimum as I can. I promise :P

Remember my keluh kesah on kad jemputan tak cukup?

We bought 500 pieces of kad jemputan kosong before I sent it for the printing. The initial plan was that we would invite lesser guests (smaller in number) compared to my Sister's Majlis back in 2008

But yes, it didn't happen. Lols!

I don't blame anyone though. I mean, even I myself belong to a few circles of friends already; from childhood, secondary school, Penang Matriculation College, UiTM Faculty of Law, rakan-rakan peguam yang bijaksana to anyone that I know from blog, Instagram etc. Meanwhile the Parents, of course they have a larger circles of friends compared to mine i.e nisbah umur berkadar langsung dengan bilangan kawan-kawan

A friendly reminder/tip to any bride-to-be who reads this; it's very advisable to provide more invitation cards than the estimated number of guests you have in the list because you tend to miss some people in the list & you tend to bump into someone/some people at any random place who probably has/have known/heard that you're getting married

Imagine the awkwardness & embarrassment of telling them, 'Jemput datang majlis saya 21/02 nanti. Tapi sorry, kad dah habis....'. So malu I tell you, so malu -.- My solution was, I forwarded the invitation card virtually via whatssap but of course, feelingnya haruslah tak sama. Sigh!

And in my humble opinion, not everybody appreciates the wedding invitation via FB unless they're your close friend(s) yang jenis tak kisah even kalau tak dapat card pun

We Are Married, Alhamdulillah!

Alhamdulillah, we are married! ♥

A.H & I were officially husband & wife on 21/02/2015, Saturday at 10.50 a.m (yes, I still had time to look at my watch. Lol!) with only one lafaz & dinikahkan by my Abah at the nearby masjid

Didn't have time to shed any tear when we were announced as husband & wife as everything happened so fast. Received a phone call from the Tuan Imam at 9.20 a.m informing me that the akad nikah must be held at 10 a.m (not at 11.30 a.m as planned) as he has to attend a funeral. Imagine the kalutness with make-up half done on my face, I couldn't reach A.H on phone to inform him about that & a few of my bridesmaids arrived late at the mosque. Pheww!

Until now, there were times when I still can't believe that I'm now somebody's wife. It still feels surreal! What's more with the LDR we're in; A.H is back in KL & in his final posting (Anaesthesiology) as a houseman meanwhile I'm here in K.Bharu menjalani liku-liku hidup sebagai seorang kuli professional

Today is my first day of work after 2 weeks of marriage leave & I've a submission due in 2 days. Boooo! Can I quit from lawyer-ing & become a pet shop's manager, please?

Getting Married: From 'Miss' To 'Mrs'

Assalamualaikum & hi!

This will be my last post before as a Miss, InsyaAllah. 15 hours more

I've been receiving a lot of questions regarding my change of status from 'Miss' to 'Mrs' soon. Have a pretty mixed feeling about this, maklumlah dah lama benau membesar dengan status 'Cik' ni & once an anak bongsu, forever an anak bongsu. Anxiety separation la kekdahnya. Hehe! But thank Allah that won't be many drastic changes even after the status changing since A.H & I will be on a LDR for a few months. He'll be in KL, while I'll be in K.Bharu

Can't believe that I'm going to marry A.H, a guy that I got to know on 11/01/2014. InsyaAllah, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made & may he be one of my investment to enter Jannah. Amin

Anyway, I'm taking this opportunity to seek forgiveness from anyone for all my wrongdoing & bad deed. Wish me luck for my Wedding tomorrow & also my marriage life! May Allah ease our affairs, amin ya rabbal alamin

Getting Married: Marriage Leave

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I wrote once before on my self-created dilemma regarding my marriage leave. Couldn't decide between 7, 8 or 9 working days off (as if it does make so much difference) because I'm a type of person who feels uneasy whenever I'm on leave. I mean, why should I feel guilty on my so much deserved leave?! -.-'

Anyhow, my marriage leave will be starting from 17/02/2015 (Tuesday) until 02/03/2015 (Monday), a 2 week leave including 9 working days off to be specific. WoohoO! *lompat bintang* But of course a few days off before the Wedding means sesi kemas rumah sampai licin berkilat. No VIP treatment for yours truly no matter how much I want to fefeeling like a princess sitting on my throne & eating grapes while having my bridesmaids kipas-ing me with beautiful & soft ostrich fur

"How about honeymoon?" 

Tiba-tiba penulis mendengar satu soalan dari pembaca. Honeymoon? What honeymoon? I would like to call mine as misi jalan-jalan ambil gambar & selfie sambil makan banyak-banyak with A.H ♥

Getting Married: The Checklist 3.0

Assalamualaikum & hi!

10 days before the Wedding, InsyaAllah. These past weeks have been very tiring but Alhamdulillah that we managed to tick off a few things off from the list

• 28/01/2015 (Wednesday) - The wedding planner, Nurza Wedding House came to our house for the site visit. We took Package B which includes the dais, the bridal room & the high table, so bab deko-deko can tarik nafas lega already
• 01/02/2015 (Sunday) - A.H's family came for the final discussion for the Wedding. Of course the bridegroom-to-be couldn't join it as he's currently too busy assisting ibu-ibu hamil delivering babies at HKL. Huhu! 
• 04/02/2015 (Wednesday) - Finalized on the wedding cake's design from Han2cake & Bakery, inspired by the gateauxlicious cakes. Hopefully it will turn out great, InsyaAllah 
• 07/02/2015 (Saturday) - Found the shawls for A.H's Majlis Bertandang. Thanks a lot to my friend, Diha for her accompany, maklumlah mek sungguh tidak arif dalam arena pemakaian shawl
• 08/02/2015 (Sunday) - Booked the wedding buntings at Kad Kahwin On9. Pening kepala to choose the design. Of course la tak ada gambar lentok-lentok mesra suwitt begitteww
• 09/02/2015 (Monday) - Abah submitted the forms at Majlis Agama Islam. One of the advantages of having a father who is a former Tuan Imam & Kadhi is he knows all the process & procedure at the tips of his fingertips & of course special treatment at the Pejabat Agama. InsyaAllah, akan dinikahkan sendiri oleh beliau sendiri. All this while tengok Abah yang nikahkan orang lain, soon it will be my turn. Adakah akan menjadi extra emotional nanti? Sobs!

Meanwhile, the unticked things on the list:-

• Spa & Facial - Been advised & persuaded by many people to go for it, at least once but I really don't have time for this, tolonglaaaaa! T_T My solution, I bought a jar of Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub from the Body Shop dengan harapan memperolehi kulit licin selembut sutera sama dengan pergi spa 
• Doorgifts - 200+ pieces to go! Yes yes, I can do it (alone). The Mother was so kind to help but after so much things going on, I decided that I'll finish doing the remaining. 850 pieces allocated but rasa macam tak cukup
• Guestbook - Halfway done 
• Hantaran trays - Almost there. The Sister deserves 70% of the credit, 10% for the Mother & another 10% is mek's
• Invitation cards - We printed 500 cards sebab awal-awal dulu kunun-kununnya tak nak invite ramai but it turns out that, kad tak cukup. Lols! Should have printed 600+. A lesson learnt untuk kenduri anak pada masa hadapan
• Enough rest, beautiful sleep & some time alone before the Big Day - In your dream, mek

Bride-To-Be Blues

The last parcel for my sweet bridesmaid, NikkoAlia couriered on 29/01/2015. Lambat gils. Hehe!

Assalamuaikum & hi!

Today is the 1st day of the second chapter for 2015. How fast time flies! Where have all those days gone? *freaks out* Rasa macam baru je new year. This month is going to be very busy. 20 days before the Wedding, InsyaAllah & I wish I can just blurt out what have been clouding my mind. The excitement, the worry, the mixed feeling etc. Ya Allah, please make everything easy for us

I was on the phone with A.H last Wednesday while driving from work:

Saya: Tiba-tiba rasa takut nak kahwin. Boleh tak I tak nak kahwin?

A.H: HAAAAAAAAA?

Saya: I rasa I tak ready lagi la nak kahwin. Rasa macam kecik lagi. Huhu!

A.H: Apa yang kecik ni S?

Saya: I la. I rasa macam budak kecik lagi nak kahwin. Huhu!

A.H: Ada pulak macam tu

Saya: Nanti tak boleh dah nak celebrate raya kat Kota Bharu. Huhu! *continues meratap*

I know it's normal for every bride-to-be to be worried about changing the status from Miss to Mrs, feeling scared that everything is not going to be the same anymore once the word 'sah' is repeated by the saksi during akad. This bride-to-be blues, I hope it's temporary. Sigh!

Apa-apa pun, I think I'm still not ready yet for marriage T_T

Getting Married: The Hantaran Trays

24/01/2015, WS Handicaft Kota Bharu

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Went for flower hunting for hantaran deco on Saturday afternoon with the Mother & Sister. It wasn't as easy as I thought, I was mabuk bunga. Pheww!

2 trays are done so far & 7 days more to go. Credits to the two Ladies of the house for their work & creativity + some Instagram accounts which have been our main sources of inspiration. My Sister told me that I'm perfectionist but when it comes to thing like this ...... *hands down* Bab gubah bunga macam ni, mek hanyalah mampu jadi quality controller but still, I've my own taste & preference 

I was browsing through the photos of the finished hantaran trays in my handphone before going to the bed last night & decided that, I'm not satisfied with the flower arrangement. I think we need to change a few things. Huhu! 

It must be the late night's dilemma created by my worn-out brain but it could also be an honest opinion. Or both. But a bride-to-be must have what she wants to have. So, hopefully my Sister won't be upset & scold me :B

How Bridezilla Got Her Name

Assalamualaikum & hello!

Had a dinner date with one of my good friends, Baei on Monday evening after work. Oh my goodness, how happy I was when Baei asked me out because only Allah knows how much I need such date lately. Actually even bukan fancy date pun, as long as there's food served on the table, I'm a happy kid! So, tqvm Baei for the birthday treat! ♥ 

I've to admit that with all this ongoing wedding preparation, I've been stressed out

Every bride-to-be wants the best on their wedding & I'm not an exclusion. But of course when many parties are involved in planning 2 major events, you can't avoid a few misunderstanding & problems coming on your way. It's true that tolerance is the key while on the same time, you're trying so hard to make sure that your sanity is still intact with your soul. It's a dilemma between satisfying self-want/dream vs pleasing other people

Now I know how the title 'Bridezilla' got her name :P

24 days left before the Wedding. Ya Allah, please make everything easy for all of us. It freaks me out everyday of how fast time flies yet we still have a few things on the list untick. InsyaAllah, everything will go smooth as planned. So far, masih lena tidur pada waktu malam. Maybe sebab energy banyak keluar & otak penat berfikir pada siang hari

Can't wait for everything to be over. Nak qadha tidur please?

Getting Married: The Food Caterer

Assalamualaikum & hi! 

We had a discussion/meeting with the Caterer, Citarasa Linda Katering on Thursday evening, 22/01. The discussion went well & we were happy with the service offered by them. Alhamdulillah

Abah had attended a wedding recently where the food served was catered by them & according to him, the food was good, beliau makan 2 pinggan siap. Hehe! So, InsyaAllah makanan served masa kenduri nanti sedap

For the record, kami amik pakej untuk 600 guests (dapat complimentary set untuk set nasi pengantin if 500 guests & above) & added a few add-ons beside the main dishes as well. Selain food caterer, the Mother insists to cook a few extra lauks & side dishes in case tak cukup. Tak pe lah, anything that make her happy :)

25 days before the Wedding day. Izinkan saya untuk berasa gelabah sebentar *kelents* May everything go well. Amin ya rabbal alamin

Getting Married: The HIV Test

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Went to Klinik Kesihatan Wakaf Che Yeh this morning to get a HIV Test. Arrived at the KK around 9 a.m (which is only 5 minute drive from my house. Untung A.H kalau dapat posting sini. Naik basikal pun bolehhh!) & was panicked a bit because I thought I was late! The clinic was already full house with pakciks, makciks & also parents with babies

Anyhow, the process was fast. It took me less than 15 minutes to get it done & get the result. Alhamdulillah

 Basically, the procedure is;

• Go to the KK counter & ask for a HIV test form. I was given a 2 pieces of form & I was required to fill in some basic personal information such as name, I/C no, age, address, status, perkahwinan kali ke berapa etc. The form tu dia kepil sekali dengan Borang Persetujuan Menjalani Ujian Saringan HIV from Majlis Agama (as attached above). So, tak perlu ke Majlis Agama beforehand untuk ambil borang tersebut
• Submit the form & wait for your turn
• Nama di panggil. Make a RM1 payment & submit/place the form at another counter as per instructed (or in my case dalam bakul hijau depan Bilik 3)
• Wait for your turn
• Nama di panggil. Masuk bilik where the nurse(s) will attend you to take the HIV test
• You will get the result on the spot; either reactive or non reactive together with the related form
• Done!

Meanwhile, A.H had his HIV test at Klinik Kesihatan Tanglin, KL yesterday. So, now we can tick off another thing from the list. Alhamdulillah!

Getting Married: The Bridal Room (Yang Dilanda Banjir)

I've been getting a lot of questions lately pertaining to my wedding preparation. So thoughtful of my friends really! Tqvm! ♥

23/12/2014, 2 days before the flood

I took these pictures & uploaded some on my Instagram, being happy & excited as Abah just finished doing his DIY project renovating & repainting the bridal room downstairs. I always wanted a bright & white bedroom & I had exactly what I had always wanted. Excited punggah barang dari bilik tidur lama upstairs masuk bilik baru. Nasib baik tak banyak lagi barang, if not lagi penat masa kena kosongkan bilik masa banjir start naik on 25/12/2015. Hehe!

Gambar bilik post flood? Tak ada. Tak ada mood nak ambil gambar. Sobs!

For the record, mase banjir hari tu takat air di dalam rumah ialah pada takat telinga seorang wanita yang berketinggian 153 cm (mek letteww) meanwhile di dalam bilik pengantin ialah, takat dada kot? Or probably higher. Fortunately the bed, night stands & vanity are still in a good condition (albeit ada kesan-kesan lumpur) but not for the wardrobe. Dalam tu macam rosak sikit but boleh je guna. Sabar je la kan? Bak kata Abah, bukan nak tidur dalam almari pun. Lols!

We resumed the wedding preparation right after we returned home after the flood (we stayed at the nearby school for 3 days & 3 nights). It's been tiring, cuci sana here & there but we've no choice. I mean, the flood hit our area about 2 months before the Wedding with most of the preparation was almost complete & because of the flood, there are some things that need to be fixed/repainted. So, we definitely can't afford to just goyang kaki ayte?

Getting Married: The Final Fitting

15/01/2015,  Nurza Wedding House

Assalamualaikum & hi!

A.H was here last week despite only had one off day. Poor guy had to rush to Subang Airport after his night shift ended on Wednesday morning (mengantuk tak cukup tidor ramai pula ibu-ibu mengandung ingin melahirkan anak pada malam tersebut yah?) & rushed back to KL on Friday morning to catch his flight at 1:20 pm as  his night shift starts at 7 p.m

We went for the final fitting at Nurza on Thursday evening (for the akad & reception at my house) & his relative's bridal boutique on Friday morning (for the reception at his side)

I think I have to admit one thing that trying many bridal outfits was very tiring, not to forget embarrassing. Lols! 

I had to try on some outfits (more than 10 I think) in front of my future MIL, the Mother, A.H's grandmother, relatives & even A.H himself -.-' without even having a proper room. Tukar depan-depan je konsep open air gittewww but of course with the full garments on la. But still it was very embarrassing exposing yourself to the world like that. Tsk!

Nonetheless, it was so relief that we managed to tick off a few things from the list. Alhamdulillah & now we're looking forward for more ticks on the list, InsyaAllah. Oh ya, need to get a pair of kilat bergemerlapan 6 cm bridal shoes & a few tudungs asap

Getting Married: The Checklist 2.0

Yes, I better work harder on my wedding preparation. I know right? Tsk!

Assalamualaikum & hi! 

8 days left before we close the final chapter of 2014 & 1 month & 4 weeks before the Wedding, InsyaAllah. The preparation has sped up faster than usual & we managed to tick off a few things on the list (the invitation cards, fabrics for the Family, canopies, kursus pra perkahwinan, the bridesmaids etc) except for:-

• The Dais -- The wedding planner hasn't come yet for the house visit, as promised. Freaked a bit but insyaAllah everything is going to be alright. Untuk sedapkan hati, sekarang kan musim orang kenduri (despite the monsoon season), hence kenduri here & there. But kalau dah masuk 2nd week of January pun still nada, I'll definitely give them a call. Haven't decided on the nikah outfit but will probably stick to wearing songket for the reception, as we had tried earlier during the first (and hopefully not the last) fitting

• The Food Caterer -- Need to set an appointment with them & finalize on the menu. Yang ni awal Januari wajib settle, InsyaAllah

• The Door Gifts -- 40%? Bahaha! Haven't decided on the door gifts for the VIP aka A.H's rombongan. The Sister voluntarily offered herself to be in charge on that

• The Hantaran -- Haven't decided yet on the tray/dulang decoration but I have a few ideas in mind, inspired by some photos I saw on Instagram. Kek belum tempah. InsyaAllah sempat

• The Facial Treatment, Spa & Dental Appointment -- I've been wanting to set an appointment at Herbaline & a dental clinic nearby. Next week after gaji la kita figure out macam mana. Hehe!

• The Guest Book Area -- Remember my post that I wanted to DIY my guest book? 40% done. Hari tu je hangat-hangat tahi ayam jap. Lols! Haven't decided on where it should be placed, the setting etc tapi I've been searching for some inspirations from Pinterest & other blogs. Will definitely need the Father's help on this since he's always been our great Mr Handyman ♥

• The Bridal Room -- It's almost complete! Alhamdulillah! This one needs its own post!

• The Wedding Documents & HIV Test -- Alamak belum!

• The Shoes -- Alamak yang ni pun also belum!

We must get all of these done as soon as possible, come what may, InsyaAllah! If possible, before February, tapi macam tak je. Lols! But if nak compare dengan The Checklist 1.0, alhamdulillah ada lah progress. But it's okay! Marilah menuju kejayaan!

Is there anything that I missed?

P/s: The flood is getting worse here in Kelantan, especially in Gua Musang, Kuala Krai, Tumpat, Pasir Mas & certain area in Kota Bharu. Mohon doakan keselamat mereka

Getting Married: The Invitation Cards

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Our invitation cards are finally ready!

Yes yes, I know that the cards look the same i.e the reception at my house (21/02/2015) & majlis bertandang at A.H's grandmother's house (22/02/2015) & we purposely wanted them that way. We are boring like that, perhaps? :P

Received the first draft about a week & half after I sent the cards for the printing. Gave them the new draft on the same day because there were some typo errors, amendment & additional details. Took them about a week & a half to finish printing all 1100 cards with still a few typo errors & mistakes. Sigh!

At that time all I wanted was the cards. Couldn't afford to wait any longer as A.H's parents are coming soon maka mek redho sahajalah. It was nothing major but being person with OCD, of course it does bother me. 'Tetamu' jadi 'tetanu'. Tsk! Collected the cards on 17/12 after making a call to the shop. Not recommended for those who are in hurry or with low or zero level of tolerance despite the reasonable charge on printing. Nonetheless, they deserve a compliment on the map design for putting some details which I didn't include or terlepas pandang

To be honest, I had a self-created doubt whenever I saw pretty invitation cards online (it still does, until now). Like this one time when A.H showed me his friend's invitation card; gold plated text, hot stamping floral design etc which made me go cuckoo for a while. Tak semena-mena berasa down sebab rasa macam kad kita biasa-biasa jewww. A.H tried to make me feel better by telling me that they are doctor-doctor couple, hence the expensive cards. Of course it immediately put me in a defensive & sentap mode lantas mek pun bertanya, "Is lawyer ranked lower than doctor?" *drama* which A.H didn't get to answer or explain it in a full essay as he was busy attending his patient(s) at the operating theater. Maka, emo lah mek sorang-sorang later. Lols!

From the beginning, we already agreed to not spend so much on the invitation cards but biasalah bridezilla moment tu haruslah ada kadang-kadang. Tak bride-to-be la kalau tak ada langsung jonah moment

Anyway, I think the cards look better than what I had imagined *ayat pujuk diri sendiri* & will share the full design & contents of the cards, insyaAllah! Lagi satu, I've started collecting my friends' addresses but in case I haven't asked for yours, do drop your address in the comment box below. Tqvm :)

Of Dream Job, Family & Marriage

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I'll be attending an important interview next month, on 15/01/2015 to be specific. And I'm not actually 100% sure whether I shall give it a try or let it go just like the first time I received it in June 2013

Between a dream job & family, persuasion & dissuasion, my mind is confused

Of course the Family & A.H really want me to go regardless any reason I had given them. It will be such an utterly selfish act if I don't include the Parents in all my plans. In fact, they are always my priority but yes, as painful as it may sound, sometimes you need to sacrifice some things in life in order to receive other things, which hopefully are the best for everyone. Who knows that stepping out from this not-so comfort zone will bring me to something better & greater. InsyaAllah

I never discussed openly about me & A.H's plan after we get married but we're going to be in a LDR for a few months until he finishes his housemanship in June or July. The original plan is A but in case there will be an avoidable circumstance in the future, we will resort to Plan B. If ade rezeki dengan interview ni, Plan C it will be. InsyaAllah.

So, I've 3 things to handle in hands now; the interview, wedding preparation & kerjaya hitam putihku demi sesuap nasi. Prioritinya mestilah kepada wedding preparation yang masih berbaki 40% itu *lap peluh* Interview tu kita get ready la setakat yang mampu. If ada rezeki, ada la. If not, Plan A or B!

May Allah ease our affairs in everything we are in/at. Amin & InsyaAllah. We plan, Allah plans but indeed He is the best of Planner :)

Getting Married : The Bridal Room

Assalamualaikum & hi! 

2 months, 1 week & 3 days before the Wedding (insyaAllah) & the preparation now has now on the faster pace. Kalau tak faster, memang wajib berasa gelabah sekarang -.-' We are (or rather, the super handy & hardworking Father) currently working on the soon-to-be-bridal room & also the toilet downstairs

4. Coating the vanity with the first layer of white paint, 10/12/2014

The Sister's previous bridal bed, nigh stands, vanity & wardrobe are still in the good condition. So, instead of buying & spending at least RM2999 on the new bedroom set, we opted to just recycle them which is actually a wise decision to make since there's no more room for another bedroom set in our house

Abah is currently repainting them in white (as per my request. Hehe!) & they do look like new. Can't wait to see the end result :)

Meanwhile, The Mother & I have been hunting for 2 pretty bedside lamps & whenever we saw some things that caught my interest, they were either too expensive or too short. I actually don't have any particular design in my mind but I prefer an English look which usually doesn't come cheap

Abah is also repainting the wall white (although I did consider mild grey but white won obviously). I love how the colour gives the room a whole new look, makes it more spacious. Thinking of getting an English/French style wallpaper but knowing myself who easily get bored at anything printed, I shook the thought off

The bridal package that we booked does include the decoration in the bridal room. So, kita tunggu sahajalah the wedding planner datang untuk the site visit soon. They were supposed to come at the end of November, sibuk gamaknya sampai la ni tak mai lagi rumah cheq

Getting Married : Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

 28/11/2014, some parcels for my darling bridesmaids ♥

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Do you still remember about my dilemma in choosing my bridesmaids & the colour of their dresses/baju? 

Firstly about the bridesmaids; I already had some names in my mind but it's not that easy especially when you belong to some circles of friends; from childhood/primary school, secondary school, matriculation college, UiTM & to lawyer-ed colleagues

Being sappy me, of course I want to include them all & have them by my side on my happy day soon (insyaAllah). I've already imagined having them wearing the same boria baju on that day, posing for the cameras, having fun, acting bimbo (because being serious is boring. Girls just wanna look pretty & have funnn! ♥) & all. Unfortunately, I can only pick 9 of them & it wasn't that easy. In fact, I haven't finalized yet on the 3 names. Sigh!

Uh oh! One of the supposed-to-be-my bridesmaid candidates, Ira (the one who I always turned to whenever I had my self-created dilemma about wedding & stuff) wouldn't make it on my wedding. Me iz sad :( And my other UiTM close friends would also not be here I think due to work commitment & jarak pemisah antara kami. KL/Selangor/Putrajaya - Kota Bharu bukanlah sekangkang kera jaraknya & asking them to be my bridesmaids would probably trouble them. Huhu!

Meanwhile, for the fabrics; well, the problem now has been fixed! Alhamdulillah!

Went to Nagoya Textiles with the Mother last weekend with an important mission to get some materials for my room's curtains but Alhamdulillah that we found such a good bargain for all my 9 bridesmaids' fabrics :D I already passed one parcel (as shown above) last night to Dr Ati, my SciPPian junior (who had just finished her study in India & is now on a long holiday before she starts her housemanship next year), so 8 parcels more to go! Need to pass & post them fast. Kang lambat-lambat, makcik/kakak/abam tailor tak mau pulak jahit
