My 30 By 30 List

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

Tiba-tiba dapat semangat membuak-buak to update blog after khatam-ing this one sweet girl's blog. Teringat zaman muda-mudi once upon a time ago when I had such a gusto to update this blog on daily basis despite the hectic crazy schedule at the Law School

Sigh!

I love this blog. I really don't want to turn it into a dead lonely place, like mostly happened to some blogs that I used to read & visit

Anyway, I suddenly remember about my '30 By 30 List' that I've been keeping since long time ago, probably wrote it some time in 2010. The list wasn't even complete to 30 but since I'm turning 30 in a few days (OMG! I'm no longer in that cool 20's club anymore! *cries*), I really feel like going through the list & see how much I've achieved :)

Let see what 23 year old Suria had wished for her 30 year old self to achieve. Disclaimer: This was listed down by oh so childish Suria about 7 years ago. Lolololol!

  • 1. Be a better muslimah/person inside out. InsyaAllah!
  • 2. Graduate with awesome CGPA & get into LL.B (Hons) programme
  • 3. Get a driving license
  • 4. Be a better cook
  • 5. Get my dream job or be employed
  • 6. Be a lawyer
  • 7. Splurge my first gaji on my parents
  • 8. Get married before 27. Lol!
  • 9. Further my studies on ancient history/archeology
  • 10. Perform umrah or hajj with the Parents/whole family
  • 11. Go to Egypt
  • 12. Master English more
  • 13. Have bunnies/rabbits as pets
  • 14. Go to Sabah/Sarawak
  • 15. Road trips with the Girlfriends
  • 16. Paint my bedroom white
  • 17. Be an aunty
  • 18. Study our family history or at least know a bit about our ancestor
  • 19. Travel by train
  • 21. Go to Paris
  • 22. Finish the al-Quran tafseer
  • 23.
  • 24.
  • 25.
  • 26.
  • 27.
  • 28.
  • 29.
  • 30.

So, I manage to achieve 13 things out of 22 from the list. Hmmm, not bad ayte?

I'm A Stalker #edisipengakuantulusikhlas

Asalamualaikum & hallo!

If I were to describe my fashion sense, the answers would be 'Simple' & 'Asal nampak semengah'. Lols! Definitely not someone who is opinionated on fashion & such

I love seeing pretty girls on Instagram (asal jangan berlebih sudahhh). 'Seeing' doesn't sound right, I think the word 'stalking' is better :P I mean, who doesn't like to look at pretty things, especially pretty faces! I'm easy to be wow-ed at girls who are not only pretty, but also well educated. Hence, the reason why I'm following some random girls who I found randomly on Instagram. It's kind of interesting to follow other people's lives on Instagram, especially those who seem to lead a different life than you. Like, different profession?

Anyway, stalking pretty sophisticated girls may have its bad effect on me sometimes. I mean, looking at them being so posh & pretty but me? Still a pretty much make-up virgin. I could be taken away by my own low self-confidence that I often said to A.H of how pity he is to be married to a woman who doesn't know how to doll up herself with make up & such

Of course he always had some nice words to console me because pardon moi, women love compliments & quite good at pishing for them just to make them feel better from times to times. I'm a woman so yes, I fall under the general rule with no exception :P #dilemaseorangwanita

Btw, here is a collage photos of before + after make up of yours truly, as an evidence that my make-up skill is nothing to wow at. Jika anak-anak Mama kelak terjumpa blog Mama & are reading this entry, percayalah nak that your Mama was once young, had less wrinkle(s) & yes, used to parade around a pair of lighter eye bags. Lols!

20/07/2016

Some moisturizer + a thick layer of BB cream & compact powder + eyeliner + lipstick; and I'm ready to rock the world of rumah terbukaaaa! #teamrayasebulan #teamsukamakan #makanpahceroh

While, this was me on my Wedding day with the help of professional MUA

21/02/2015

But come to think about it, instead of improving my make-up skill, baik rajin-rajinkan diri eat healthy & drink plenty of plain water kan? Beauty comes from within orang kata & honestly, I believe more on taking care of my skin rather than concealing it with make up. Make up je la setakat yang sis mampu. Asal nampak semengah kekdahnya.

Random Things

17/05/2016. Kompleks Mahkamah Pasir Mas
Sis acah-acah fix muncung shawl

I decided to list down a few random things about me. Just because I can. Lols! Tak de la. Actually nak update blog tapi tak tahu nak update ape but the passion is there! Paham tak macam mana? Membebel je la secara random. Mari!
  • 2 months since I started working at the new firm. Alhamdulillah. I couldn't be happier!
  •  I rarely go to the court(s) nowadays, unlike when I was attached with the previous firm. Do I miss wearing black & white everyday? I do, honestly
  • I still want to further studies in archaeology and/or history. But paying for the tuition fees will be another story la pulak kan?
  • 15 months of Marriage & no rizq for a child yet. I've to admit there were times I felt so down but luckily A.H has always been more +ve than me & has always there to cheer me up. I keep telling myself over & over again that the rizq will come on the right time & Allah swt is definitely the best Planner of all. InsyaAllah, someday :)
  • But on a brighter note, boleh jalan-jalan here & there macam baru kahwin! Yay!
  • It's been a few months since we kept a pet/kitten. It feels so lonely that I believe, only cat lovers will understand. I've been asking around kot-kot ade kitten(s) to be adopted. Tak kesahlah siamese ke, kampung ke. Kalau dapat british short hair lagi suke! Macam Oh My Jep!
  • Tema Raya tahun ni tak confirm lagi. I kinda like pale yellow & white/grey. Macam tart nenas gitu
  • Tahun ni tak sure yet Raya kat mana but a thing for sure, it's A.H's kampung's turn. So, it's either Melaka or Perlis
  • Hoping for no drama Raya di pagi Raya. I never spent Raya far away from homeeeee!
  • My current weight is 45kg although at times rasa gemuk macam whale. Ke scale rumah kite rosak?
  • Been wanting to go to Egypt & Istanbul for holiday. But I know A.H will definitely want to re-visit New Zealand. Asal lalu highway, mesti cakap "Macam New Zealand la". Rindu letteww!
  • If you know me, you know my fashion sense is nothing on par to be compared with adik-adik hijabista di luar sana. But sis dah slow-slow berjinak dengan shawls dah sekarang! (walaupun kadang-kadang rasa macam sarang tebuan bergerak)
  • I've always been an optimistic. I hate seeing/knowing people sad. You may see me act like I don't care, padahal lepas tu overthink sorang-sorang, muram tak semena-mena
  • I've always tried to be nice to anyone I know dengan seikhlas mungkin. Tapi kadang-kadang bila orang macam tak appreciate kita, of course sis terasa. Not that I want something in return, tapi bila orang buat baik dengan kita, at least be mutual la kan? Huhu!
  • I claim myself to be a pure kaw-kaw Kelantanese but my Kelantanse dialect is not that good. Macam "why do I sound so pelik, mannn?" especially when I'm speaking with orang-orang lama. Padahal nak-nak minggu gomo budu

It's almost 11 pm. A.H will arrive anytime soon! I gtg! Bye!

What Is Inside My Handbag?

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I fasted today (3 days more to go. InsyaAllah!) & had some free time in the office. Kalau tak, lunch break je mesti hidup menjadi tidak keruan kerana memikirkan betapa enaknya meneguk air kelapa muda pada siang hari tatkala matahari merembang dengan galaknya #sisdapatA1paperbmdulu

So, I decided to flatlay the things which I always carry in my handbag to the office & I shared the photo on my Instagram

1. Purse
Other than collecting koleksi nama-nama restauran yang pernah sis kunjungi (Lols!), I also like collecting purses. I have a few branded purses in my collection (tapi sis masih belum mampu la dik non nak pakai Prada bagai) but this Tory Burch inpired red purse has been my recent favourite. For only RM30, I can totally go lasak with it without having this sayangnyaaaa-no-germs-you-cannot-touch-my-purse feeling

2. Sunglasses
Loving my H&M glasses & case. Corak the case tu looks a bit mokcik-mokcik but reaching 30 next year, I shall just embrace the inner makcik-ness in me

3. Handphones
I've 2 handphones; Iphone 5s (which I used to take this photo) which I use for my Digi number & also for Whatsapp, Instagram, Fb, Twitter etc while my old Samsung Grand Duos is used for my Celcom number

4. Car keys (not in the pict, office keys)

5. Barang-barang Perempuan
I don't wear much make-up to the office, except when I go to court. On the normal day, I'll usually wear Olay Day Cream SPF 15, Mistine No. 1 Platinum Super Powder SPF 22 & Silkygirl 09 Crush. Other than these, I'll always have wet tissues, tissues, pantyliner/pad & TicTac inside my handbag

Don't think that my handbag is that semak though but I did have where-art-thou-barangku moments once in a while? You know like they say, women's handbags are like Doraemon's Pintu Suka Hati. You never know what you are going to find inside. Hehe!

The Day I Bid Goodbye To My Wisdom Tooth

I had a minor oral surgery (MOS) to remove my wisdom tooth (which was horizontally erupted) at HUSM on 05/01/2016, Tuesday. Alhamdulillah, everything went well. I was given 3 days of MC & oh my Allah, can't imagine how my days would be if they didn't give the MC & I still have to go to work!

Prior to the MOS, I went to HUSM on 25/11/2015 & had my teeth examined & x-rayed. Was explained that my right bottom wisdom tooth is horizontally impacted with most of it below the gum line while the upper is partially erupted. That explains a countless series of bad & deep ulcers on my cheeks, headache, fever etc I've had since 2008

Tadaaa!
You can read the rest of the story here

The MOS procedure took about 2 hours, right from my history & blood pressure reading were taken, they put me under local anaesthesia (LA) (2 doses of it), the removal of my bottom right wisdom tooth (Still have another one but nanti la dulu. Lols!), was explained on the need to have soft diet for a couple of days to collecting my medicines

During the MOS, my face (except the mouth area) & my upper body were covered with green cloth but I still could see the tools used hasil dari intaian di sebalik lipatan bahagian mata. Hehe! And it would probably took me some times to forget the loud krenggg krengggg sound when they tried to korek my wisdom tooth & pull it out. Perghh! Bergegor kepala

Although I was put under LA, I still could feel the pain & pressure on the gum. Other than syahadah, berzikir etc, I also had my own mantra yakni "Ore lain sakit supo ni jugok. So come on! I can do this", "If you had the patience to bear the pain since 2008, so why not now?" etc. Oh, I also forced myself to sleep but that krenggg krengggg sound was utterly disturbing

At the end of the MOS,  they satured (jahit) my gum 3x & I could see the kilatness of the thread they used. Lols! Haven't had the heart to look at them until now but dapat rasa lah dengan lidah. Oh, right after the MOS, they showed me my babies, I mean my wisdom which was broken into 4 pieces & despite the pain, numbness around my face & difficulty to speak because I had gauze inserted into my mouth, I still had the chance to ask, "Can I keep them?" #formemorysakekekdahnya

10 days after the MOS, it's safe to say that I'm 90% recovering (except for the ulcer(s)), compared to the first 4 days after the MOS where I still could feel the pain, my face was swollen & swallowing own saliva pun required some hard work, let alone nak makan. And being a nasik lover I'm, of course being under soft diet was hard for me. I was so hungry & it frustrated me that I only could have only porridge. Dok rokk bohh makey bubur pagi petey siey maley. I lost almot 2 kg within that grief period which is quite nice actually. Hehe!

Tqvm to Klinik Pakar Pergigian HUSM, especially to everyone who involved during the MOS for their great hospitality. I was surrounded by a couple of final year dental students, including one Chinese guy who assisted during the MOS & hopefully, adik-adik sekalian beroleh manfaat daripada pemerhatian adik-adik terhadap gigi bongsu akak itteww!

Tqvm to A.H for taking a leave & teman kita on that day. Gara-gara the MOS, I had to postpone his birthday celebration because what's birthday celebration without a festive makan-makan?

Of 8 Remaining Working Days, Berangan & Studying Archaeology & History

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I've about 8 working days before I leave this firm for good soon, InsyaAllah

The feeling? MasyaAllah! I freaking can't wait! WoohoO!

So today's mission is to bring some of my Law statutes & books home. These are only quarter of what I have, I think. The rest are home; stacked & dusted. Anyway, kudos to the publishers who put the effort to make these photo-less statutes & books' covers colourful. At least they look appealing & entertaining to our tired eyes

Looking at them reminds me to some memories I had at UiTM Faculty of Law from Pre Degree Law, BLS (Hons) to LL.B (Hons), ada manis, ada bitter & ada the combination of both but all of them have made me what I'm today. Alhamdulillah

I owe a lot to my lecturers & friends for making my 5 years of roller coaster journey to becoming an advocate & solicitor a joyful one. Reading law isn't as easy as it seems, I may add but they made mine bearable. You may read my posts tatkala zaman muda at UiTM here

I haven't secured any future job yet, honestly. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I had e-mailed my resume to this one firm about 2 weeks ago but until to date, I haven't received any update yet. Thinking about future worries me a bit that I even made a plan to do a part-time job as a cashier at KB Mall, in case I'll still be jobless after some time. Tak pun kita jadi janitor kat hospital A.H will be working at soon. Senang sikit can have lunch date almost everyday! #wishfulthinking #lawdegreegantungkatdindingrumahsajor

I'm thinking about furthering my studies too but this time, instead of studying so hard & chasing for good grade & graduate on time, I really want to do something that I've yearned for many years i.e studying history or archaeology! Egyptian archaeology has my utmost interest!

At one of the Egyptian archaeology sites. Dahaga pulak kita tengok gambar panas macam ni

There are only 3 local universities that offer Archaeology courses in Malaysia;

Meanwhile, most of local universities (including the private ones) offer the History course but the most appealing one is UMK! Dekat je dengan rumah kita plus the Brother-in-law kita pun kerja UMK. Hehe! Attending classes won't be a problem I guess

Me, in a few years plus tudung & comotness. Lols! Nak gambar yang cantik aje

Bestnya berangan but nanti siapa nak tolong bayarkan tution fee kita? Adakah terpaksa resort to part-time job di KB Mall or janitor juga kelak? -.-'

Keluh Kesah Kak Esah

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I've a few things that are disturbing my mind. Did you ever be in this situation? I've been trying to avoid myself from posting any personal status on Fb for some obvious reasons but gahhh! I still need to channel them somewhere else!

  • My wedding photos. I'm probably among a few unlucky brides who had thought that I didn't look my best during my wedding day. I'm not pretty/beautiful nor photogenic, you see. Whenever I saw some pretty wedding photos of others either on Instragram/Fb or anywhere else on the net, it saddened me & still it does. I don't know what really went wrong that day; perhaps the shawl that I wore during the reception. Sigh! This is the reason why I'm not looking forward to seeing my wedding photos which soon will be passed to me by our wedding photographer. Me & my low self esteem; we've been bff for years! :(
  • Work. Sigh! I've this love-hate relationship with this one. I just don't like the feeling of waking up in the weekdays, thinking that it's another working day. The reason why I'm always looking forward for weekends & trying to not think about work. Is this a cue for me to change my profession/job?
  • This is related with point no. 2. One thing about me; whenever I don't have passion to do things I'm currently charged with, I won't try my best to impress anyone. I'll finish the task but without much passion & gusto involved. Honestly, I don't like it. No, I hate it. It isn't because I'm lazy but ...... Get it?

Bye! Back to work!*mengensot*

A New Interest

Assalamualaikum & hi!

I recently developed a new interest ♥ No, interest itu bukan dalam bentuk mengusya Instagram yang menjual handbags berjenama pada harga mampu milik, bukan juga mengusya tiket Firefly ke Subang - Kota Bharu yang murah. Bukan bukan (walaupun pada hakikatnya ya). Namun interest itu ialah ... *drums roll*

Keeping a planner!

Sebagai peminat tegar mengemaskini data hidup peribadi (di blog & Instagram) & used to keep diaries, having a neat & pretty planner is like a must. Have been trying to make it as a hobby but masa sangat mencemburui hidupku. Nonetheless, I've started buying some of the things that I need (and probably, I might need) last week yet I haven't really officially started the project. We have limited cute & awesome supplies of stationeries here in Kota Bharu, so finding the things above was quite a trick. Ye la, dah almost April baru nak cari 2015 planner. Motif? T_T

Anyway, here are some photos I found on Pinterest

So bright, so colourful, so posh!

Saw some fancy planners at kikki-k & Typo websites but the shipping cost nya, MasyaAllah sis! Lagi mahal dari the planner itself! Been eyeing on the Kate Spade planners as well but the price of one planner is equivalent to a handbag! Baik beli handbag kan?

 Planners from kikki-k
 Planners from Typo

Tak pe lah, for now we settle on the red cover planner that I had bought la dulu. Kang beli mahal-mahal kang jadi projek hangat-hangat tahi ayam semata-mata. Ni pun dah menuju ke arah itu nampaknya

With Hardship Comes Ease

There's something that is bothering me now. I've been trying a solution to get away from it but until to date, it remains unsettled. Just so you know,  I'm a type of person who will avoid getting into trouble/problem at all cost but this one ... sigh!

Ya Allah, I ask for your guidance & ways to ease my affairs. From you I seek for protection from any hardship. Amin ya rabbal alamin

No Auto Return

29/09/2014, 12:09 pm

Unlike typewritter, there's no auto return key in our live. Hence, every word that we utter & every decision that we are about to make, let it be clear.

Self happiness is the key & pleasing others isn't our priority

Hobi Saya

Ma chambre, 04/09/2014

I spent about 3 hours of my Thursday night rearranging the furniture in my bedroom. What a wild night I had, huh?

My wooden queen-sized bed & mattress are so heavy that it usually took 2 people to move them but I did move them alone, all by myself anyway. Can you see my determination slash kesungguhan di situ? I take it as a personal achievement although I woke up to a hurting back yesterday morning. Haih!

I'm a type of person who can't stand seeing thing(s) being untouched for too long. My bedroom for instance, these 4 pink walls have seen all sorts of arrangements since a few years ago. Meanwhile my little corner in the office, despite its limited space it also had gone through a few changes of arrangements since I started working there in June 2012. Can't imagine when I have my own room soon (which is next to the boss' & the wall is a see-thru glass one) because I really don't mind not having one *cries*

And when A.H & I are married (insyaAllah), hopefully he won't be busy at the hospital whenever I need his help to move around the furniture. This habit of mine; it's unpredictable & not to forget, sweaty but who cares about it when it can make me go to sleep feeling happier? ;)

The Sims 4 dah available ke kat Malaysia? Nak cari kat Low Yat la next week. Dah lama tak fefeeling jadi interior designer

What's Inside Your Handbag, Mek?

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Last 2 weeks, I blogged about 'what inside my very humble make-up bag' which is very humble, it makes me malu whenever I think about it sometimes :')

Putting the malu-ness aside, here comes the 'what inside my handbag' version pulak! I think many women have the common must-have in their handbag or otherwise a please-make-a-uturn-I-leave-my-*insert anything here*-at-home drama would happen. Just like what I did a few weeks ago when I incidentally left my telekung solat on my bed. It took me a few minutes to decide whether I should make a uturn or not. After driving a few km away from home & at a busy t-junction, baru terhegeh-hegeh nak buat uturn *facepalms*

  • 1. Diary -- 'A lawyer without her diary is like a cat without mustache' (Suria M, 2014) :P I'm so used of bringing my diary whenever I go, not restricted to the court only. Sampaikan pergi kenduri kahwin pun bawak. Hidup rasa macam tak complete tanpanya
  • 2. Power bank -- Call me an obesed obsessive owner but I love my Hello Kitty power bank! Bought it at Low Yat Plaza last month, A.H belanja. Hehe!
  • 3. Tissue
  • 4. Sweets
  • 5. Telekung Solat -- This kind of telekung solat yang boleh lipat-lipat masuk dalam pouch/bag is so practical although I've to admit that its beautiful bag yang buat mek terpikat sebenarnya #dilemaseorangwanita Bought it for RM30 (if I'm not mistaken) at Bazar Tok Guru, Kota Bharu
  • 6. Car keys
  • 7. Business card holder -- 'A lawyer without her business card is like an abang polis traffic without misai' (Suria M, 2014) Lols! But true enough! I mean, whenever we're out of the office, lawyers don't have any other identification to prove that we're lawyers except our business card with our name, qualification(s) & office details on it. Tak kan la nak hang Sijil Annual & kertas degree LL.B kat leher kot?
  • 8. Purse -- Once upon a time ago, I used to have purses with very limited card slots but those were the days. My hypothesis; semakin dewasa seseorang itu, semakin gemuk purse beliau dengan cards. Agree?
  • 9. Make-up bag -- Click here to see its humble contain
  • 10. Bag serba guna -- Where I keep my office keys & pens etc
  • 11. Tupperware water bottle (not in the picture) -- One of my health resolutions is to drink a lot of water everyday, so I bring it almost anywhere I go. Bosan-bosan kat traffic light tunggu lampu hijau, bolehlah isi masa lapang dengan minum air
  • 12. Handphone (also not in the picture)

And I wonder why I haven't had toned muscles di lengan? Botol air je pun dah beratus gram berat -.-' Kunci lagi

My Very Humble Make-Up Bag

Assalamualaikum & hi! Jumma mubarak, everyone!

I've seen a lot of people did this 'what inside my handbag/purse/make-up bag' entry & always wanting to do mine. But at that time, I was still at the uni & I even didn't have a make-up bag! Maklumlah pergi kelas muka temanya natural beauty gittewww!

Anyway, here is my very humble version of 'what inside my make-up bag' entry with the review & comments. Kot-kot dapat share some good stuff & tips :)

  • 1. The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion -- I've been using this since September last year, & this is my second tube. Walaupun mek menyedari kulit mek adalah tidaklah se-flawless Snow White but I notice that the parut-parut jerawat have become invisible. Although tak la totally invisible but invisible lah jugak (ayat disclaimer dengan tegasnya). I'll apply it before putting any make-up & love its cooling effect on my face. Dulu RM42 je per tube, now dah RM49. Sobs! But it lasts for 3-4 months, depending on how much you use it, so ok lah. Read my product review on The Body Shop Skin Care here
  • 2. Naturactor Foundation (Colour code: 141) -- It's the best foundation I've been using so far! *claps* It's so light, long lasting & tidak mencomotkan muka unlike some of the foundations I used before. The Mother bought it for me a few months ago, so honestly mek tidaklah mengetahui samada colour code no. 141 adalah betul-betul sesuai dengan colour kulit mek ini sebab product review tulis 'suitable for stage makeup & studio makeup' (amboiii! Kemainn!) but I think ok la kot eh? Naturactor is a product from Meiko Cosmetic, Japan & you may read about it here
  • 3. Mistine Super Powder SPF 25 -- I was introduced to Mistine compact powder by the Mother (she has a few Siamese friends & you can tell that she's really into beauty products. Rimas kot tengok anak bongsu dia sememeh je) last year & love how smooth the powder is. It also comes with a very pretty casing! I actually incidentally dropped my first Mistine compact powder atas tangga ofis, hancur berkecai isi dalam but luckily that I found the replacement after a few days. Mistine is a product from Thailand & you may read about it here & here
  • 4. The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick (Shade 101 Red Siren) -- My first lipstick from The Body Shop & of course I had to bring home the colour which I know the Mother approves i.e the most red one among all! :P It's so merah ang-ang that sometimes I had to wipe it off a bit. The Body Shop is currently having 20% off (why now?!!) for its lipsticks. You may buy it online here
  • 5. Nutrimetics Magix Lip Colour (Green Mint) -- This is totally the opposite of The Body Shop merah ang-ang lipsticks as it works according to our body chemistry i.e it's personalized according to our lips' natural colour. I also recently bought Maybelline Lip Polish (Glam 7) but later decided that lip gloss isn't my thing. Hehe!
  • 6. Maybelline HyperSharp Liner -- I never used other eye liner but I believe this is the best; liquid liner, easy to wear, waterproof yet easy removal by warm water (I usually use wet tissue or olive oil). Very suitable for those make-up noobs like moi. Read about it here
  • 7. Sephore Nano Eye Liner (Chocolate 05) -- Bought it in July last year at Sephora, Suria KLCC & haven't figured how to use it sebab ni jenis pencil, not the liquid liner like Maybelline Hypersharp Liner. Maka sekarang ia terdampar sahaja tanpa digunakan. I really can't enter fancy make-up shops like Sephora. Dah tau noob tapi nak beli juga. Peer influence sungguh. You may read about it here anyway
  • 8. Silkygirl Double Intense Duo Eye Shadow -- Should have bought in another duo colour but when it comes to make-up, I always chose to be safe. Safe ke black & silver, silap apply terus look like panda. Heh! I rarely use this though
  • 9. Bonjela -- Oh! How would I survive without you? It's so vital that I decided to carry it whenever I go as my wisdom teeth have become best friends with this since 2008. Ni bukan make-up actually, kang ada yang ingat ni ubat titis untuk menceriakan mata
  • 10. DKNY Be Delicious Candy Apples Sweet Caramel Perfume
  • 11. The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist -- Love the smell & A.H loves it too :P I think I like anything vanilla-ly, the smell is strong yet feminine *flips tudung* Tiba-tiba teringat vanilla ice-cream kat McD. RM1 lagi ke per cone?
  • 12. Wet tissues -- I usually use it to remove make-up before solat & also untuk lap meja berminyak di restaurant
  • 13. Tissues

Sekian sahaja 'what inside my make-up bag' edisi mek. Barang-barang make-up level beginner sungguh kekdahnya

Hud 11:61

Ø¥ِÙ†َّ رَبِّÙŠ Ù‚َرِيبٌ Ù…ُجِيبٌ
"Truly, my Lord is ever-near and always responding (to prayers)"

(Surat Hud 11:61)

Have you ever had your dua answered by Allah in the most perfect time? After some trials & hardship, long duas after prayers, countless of times wetting your pillow to sleep, bitterness etc, Allah The Most Merciful & Beneficent finally granted your dua when you actually least expect it

Perhaps, it's the power of my Parents' duas which have no hijab upon what they ask for. Perhaps, what I previously wanted isn't the best for me. We plan, He plans but indeed He is the best of planners

If it's destined this way, I pray may this happiness is best for everybody, be it for present & future. InsyaAllah

Listen Darling, I'm Not That Young Anymore

Assalamualaikum & hallo!

Walaupun diri ini kadang-kadang nampak or pretend acting like a bimbo, honestly I'm not a fan of selfie. I mean, look at myself with parut jerawat here & there & eye bags yang tersergam megah itu. Maka, perbuatan meng-upload banyak gambar selfie seakan-akan menawarkan diri untuk direjam dengan buah tomato busuk sahaja

But once in a while I'll upload a full picture of my face at my Instagram just to remind myself that I'm not that young anymore. You know, that sad moment when you begin to accept the fact that you're aging, which hopefully gracefully

People say, with age comes greater responsibilities atau bak kata pepatah, 'rumah kata go go!, kubur kata come come!'. Comparing my pictures zaman sebelum chambering & now pun dah boleh nampak beza. Like, where has my runcing face (walaupun secara hakikatnya I was born with bulat face. Heh!) gone? Why can't I smile like before without looking extra chubby walaupun berat hanyalah 43 kg?

It just feels like yesterday I registered at the boarding school as an innocent 13 year-old girl & now, ada rakan sebaya yang dah ada anak 3 pun. Deep down inside, nothing much has changed about myself but my soul is probably the fastest thing that ages among other things. Did a quiz yesterday & the result revealed that my soul actually belonged to a 64 year-old person

Oh my poor old soul, what have I done to you?!

And what have I prepared for my death? :(

Seronok Berangan

Assalamualaikum & happy Saturday everyone! ♥

No matter how big grand houses often catch my attention (and I couldn't help but to wonder how they make so much money), I just want a cute little house for myself. It doesn't need to be a mansion but must have enough space or rooms for me to turn my imagination into a living canvas

Ok la fine. It must have at least 3 or 4 rooms & a landed property

And the wall must be painted white with other black & white complimentary furniture & some bright & fresh flowers to add some elements of surprise. Oh, and also some bright, colourful & beautiful cushions! The curtains; I love the see through ones where they allow the sunlight & angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa to peek in. For the kitchen, I know maintaining white kitchen cabinet isn't easy but when there's a will, there's a way, alright? :P

Seronok berangan. Nasib baik free je. Duit je tak datang free bergolek-golek

The Black Curtain

Me, defined

For some reasons, I purposely hide myself behind that black curtain, enjoying the hindered view

Although there were times I was suffocated & struggled to breathe in some fresh air, I've to act so cool cold & put a boundary on who & what I should allow to stay in my life. I might sound like goody-goody but pardon moi as I need to be selfish & carefully guard myself. Like a protective mama cat being fierce & firm. Mi-aw!

After all, if it isn't me, then who else shall I put my trust in not allowing anyone or anything to break my heart again?

Tapi sampai bila? Oh, the dilemma :(

Al-Jabbar & Al-Muhaimin; from You I seek help & protection from any pain, hurt or harm. Please guide me through the right path & ease my affairs. Amin...

Achievement Unlocked

Assalamualaikum & hi!

Bought a car sticker (which allows me to park my car within the KB court's compound) last Thursday as my car, Alex's latest accessory, in addition to the UiTM Law Faculty & Law Society stickers & of course the red 'P' sticker although I don't need it anymore *blows nails*

Yes yes, I'm one of those obsessed law grads -.-'

But in my defense, I should be really proud of my profession & alma mater. So, literally all my stickers mean "Don't mess with me & my car! But if I drive slow or make mistake, I'm sorry & you may go first. You notice that red 'P' kan?". Muahehe!

After having my own personal JPJ officer aka Encik Abah sitting next to me, watching me drive, giving me lectures etc for a week, I finally had Alex all by myself today! Of course the Parents were worried that Abah called me when I arrived at the office just to make sure that I didn't hit any car along the way & managed to park Alex dalam kotak parking dengan jayanya. Alhamdulillah, I survived :P

Driving Alex alone to the office - unlocked
Driving Alex alone balik rumah - hopefully ok lah. InsyaAllah. Hahaha!

The farthest me & Alex had been was Machang, visiting my Pak Ngah & Mak Ngah last Friday. It was tiring & that night I had such a good night's sleep. Macam nenek sungguh energy level

How Easy

A person once told me "Open up your heart, Suria. Don't be too choosy/careful"

It's funny how easy you said that to me
When you are the epitome of what a very broken-hearted person can be
And now I think, we're in the same boat paddling in circles

*senyum sinis*
