Panduan Menjaga Kucin

Remember an entry that I posted last week about our newly adopted kittens? You don't? It's ok, me has no hard feeling. Me is fine T_T

Tapi Kitty dah tukar nama jadi Comel now. Mek kadang-kadang tersasul panggil Adik

Having kittens without their Mama around or an induk isn't something easy. It's crucial to cater to their needs; from milk, food, water, tempat tidur, toys, the surrounding, the attention they need etc. In our case, since we already have 3 male cats {two of them, Kiki & Boboy are soooo active & very good at menyepahkan rumah. MasyaAllah -.-' Tommy pulak, macho as always}, we really need to ensure that these two innocent furry balls won't be bully victims to the other three senior cats

Wah, do I sound like an author in 'Kittens; Know Their Needs & Wants' or 'How To Pet Kittens' ataupun 'Panduan Menjaga Anak Kucin Tanpa Mamanya Di Sisi'? Hehe!

Being excited & caring people we're *coughs*, we've done anything we could to make these two feel like home. Kind of excited to have them as new family members as it's been a few years since the last time cute kittens were produced in this household. No offence Kiki & Boboy, we still love you though. Cuma kami blame Mama kamu, Kitty kerana bersuamikan kucin kampung. Hence, kucin kampung you two are

Anyway a few days ago, Kakak bought these;

Cat milk is so expensive. Ni susu formula or susu kucin betul-betul ni?

Ma's attempts to feed Comel using the bottle but to no avail. Instead of sucking the teat, she chewed it till koyak. Nasib baik la comel & innocent, nak marah pun tak sampai hati

But, who needs bottle when they can lick milk straight from the plate?! *ketuk dahi*

We also bought the skin ointment to prevent the kurap & ada jugaklah sapu minyak gamat & minyay Yu Yee Cap Limau. Lol! As for the shampoo, we, I mean they use Friskies Aloe Vera Shampoo which smells so goodddd. Lepas mandi, lagi seronok nak gomoi-gomoi. Hehe!

Kucin pun nak beraloe vera bagai. Mek pakai Rejoice je pun

We keep two bottles at home, in case kot-kot la ada yang ingin membalas dendam & ingin membawa lari sebotol

A few months ago, all of our cats had flu fever with runny nose & non-stop sneezing. Of course it wasn't something fun to see, kesian adik-adik berbulus. So, Kakak {yes, she's like a vet in this house} bought these;

For the eyes & ears

 Ubat batuk. We fed them using the syringes

Ubat batuk tu, efeknya sangat extreme. Lepas bagi ubat batuk, mulut semua berbuih-buih. Dah la masa first time bagi, acara itu di lakukan di dalam bilik mek, di atas katil. Imagine the chaotic scene! @.@ But the ubat was good despite the buih incident

And most importantly, the cat food. We don't stick to one brand only as cats do have their preference changed once in a while. Macam manusia juga lah, kalau everyday makan nasi lemak 356 days in a row, bosan juga kan? We usually opt for Friskies & Whiskas & a few brands yang mek lupa nama. Royal Canin memang tak mampu la dik, nak-nak lagi nafsu kucin di rumah ini ibarat cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan

Oleh kerana Kiki & Boboy ialah separa kucin kampung, maka mereka lebih suka makan nasi dengan ikan rebus. Cat food like this mereka tak layan tapi satu hal la pulak kan every week kena beli ikan & rebus untuk dorang. Oleh kerana tugas mengaul ikan rebus dan nasi merupakan suatu pekerjaan yang leceh, maka tugas ini biasanya diserahkan kepada Ma -.-'

Btw, a few days ago, Baby sudah di ambil balik oleh tuannya, Udin the Cousin. So, it's only Comel left. Mula-mula kesian juga tetapi lepas melihat keserasian Comel bersama-sama abang-abang angkatnya, Kiki & Boboy, kami sudah boleh menarik nafas lega. All of them are so active, Comel siap luka kat pipi main kejar-kejar. Baru je mandikan dua hari lepas, tapi bulu dah comot-comot. Tak padan kecik. Haih!
