Alright, no hard feeling at all T_T I'm still in UiTM S.Alam btw, amidst the social night of ALSA National Conference 2011 & just tasted kambing golek for the first time of my life. Oh man, sedapnyaaaa! Now I'm craving more that seeing pakcik kambing golek kemas-kemas his khemah makes my heart sore. Huhu!

Tomorrow is gonna be the last day & no matter how much I want this thing to end {being an ad-hoc/committee is tiring. Wuu!} but leaving some of my loved ones here makes me sad alsooo :(

Going Back To S.Alam Has Never Been This Exciting

ALSA National Conference 2011

I'll be attending a National Conference hosted by Asian Law Sudents' Association {ALSA}-Law Society UiTM held at our own home ground, Faculty of Law of UiTM S.Alam this weekend. Woot woot!

Conference itu bertajuk; Globalizing Alternative Dispute Resolution As The Medium of Achieving Peace In The 21st Century

*coughs*

Although I've to admit that Alternative Dispute Resolution {ADR} was my least favourite topic during my first year {does anyone here like Malaysian Legal Studies subject? Come on! Please raise your hand, don't be shy! Hehe!}, there's no harm attending such an educational talk ayte? 

And hopefully, I can gain as many information as possible & make some new friends from other 12 participating universities! :D And the most exciting part amongst all is Dato' Seri Gopal Sri Ram, a Former Judge at Federal Court is coming to officiate & deliver his speech during the conference. All this while asyik baca judgment beliau sahaja & now we're going to meet him personally, I think it's going to be the second awesome thing after getting some As for final exam. Hehe!

Now, time to pack some black & white clothes into the luggage! Going back to S.Alam has never been this exciting sebab tak payah fikir pasal any assignment & test dah! ♥   

Cikgu Dayah Kesayangan Saya ♥

This is a belated birthday shout out to my best friend of 11 years whose birthday I won't easily forget! ♥ Why you ask?

Because Nur Hidayah Aminuddin was born on the day where all teachers were so busy singing 'Kami Guru Malaysia' on the stage, receiving presents penuh 1 kereta & being celebrated like YBs. And now, 2 decades & 4 years later, she's become a garang teacher herself! Woot woot!

I wonder if she even plans to get married on the same day as well? So triple celebration it would be. Pity whoever the hubby is, banyok pitis keno spend ni. Hehe!

Iklan: Honestly, I do think that teachers deserve to get a day break on May 16. Why do they still need to go to school on the day they're celebrated? Shouldn't we just let them rest at home instead? Righttt? Eh, why suddenly am I so semangat?

Today is Teachers' Day ayte?

I shall thank the pioneer(s) behind this awesome celebration because if it wasn't because of him/her coming out with the brilliant idea of marking 16 May as the official day to appreciate all the good deeds our teachers have done to us, we would probably find some difficulties to reveal the inner soft side of us. Hehe! :')

Imagine world without Teachers' Day, we would probably have to flip through the calendar to find a special date to give our teachers cards & presents. And for someone as shy *coughs* as me *coughs*, we would probably won't zahirkan our gratefulness till the day we die. Maybe before exam tu ade la salam-salam minta ampun maaf, kalau tak, ku kenang jasamu dalam doaku sahaja la kot yang mampu? Huhu!

Budu Land vs Spice & Saree Land

Honestly, I wasn't a bubbly friendly student during my 5 years spent at the boarding school. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a nerd neither {a bit maybe, especially during the first 3 years there. I was so naive!} but I didn't know what had led me to being such a naive girl. Maybe not that naive but you get the idea ayte?

Suddenly flashing back all those good bitter old days makes me so emo. I should have done better in school but sorry, chemistry & add math were really not my things. Let just say, we're not destined to be together. Hehe! *escapes liability*

Panjang la pulok mukadimahnya, walhal nak cakap petang tadi jumpa one of a few juniors yang saya rapat masa kat sekolah dulu. Meet my sister from another parents & clan, Izzati Raimi!

Talking to her brother on the phone & playfully lied to him that she was having lunch with her bf named Su aka Suhaimi. What a manipulation of my name! -.-'

Atie is currently in Malaysia for her 2 weeks of semester break. She had spent a week earlier in Australia before kembali ke tanah tumpah darah tercinta, Pulai Chondong, Kelate, will leave for Bangalore, India tomorrow morning & will fly back to Malaysia for her brother's wedding in 2 weeks' time

Is a medical student always this rich? :P

We spent about 5 hours together talking about life in general, from our recent updates on lives & stuff, the past & present & also a bit on the plans in the future, InsyaAllah. Of course pertemuan tidak akan lengkap tanpa makan-makan & although Atie insisted to pay the lunch, rasa macam kesian pulak tengok junior kesayangan ni bayar sorang-sorang :') Walaupun Atie is the one who's going to leave Budu Land, awat mek pulak yang hoverrr sangat shopping bagai ni y'all?

Adakah Abe Lee Min Ho Masih Kekal Unggul?

Did you realize that Blogspot decided to have it's own 'me' time yesterday which had made us unable to log in to our Dashboard & continue our 'I-stalk-thou' activity the whole day? Oh well, not that I had anything interesting so urgent to share, so I better hold my tongue from giving any further comment ayte? Hehe!

Anyway, cuti has been treating me so fine. The family is doing good, so do the cats. Kelantansese sedap & awesome food never failed me & I'm yearning for more durianssss now. Man, now baru perasaan saya ni pengemar durian rupanya. The imported durians {from Siam/Thailand} are the best y'all, isi dia pejal gila. Local durian cannot lawan la I think? Tapi natijahnya ialah tidur dalam kepanasan la malam tu & lepas makan durian tu macam pening-pening sikit. My body is so weak, I need to exercise more -.-'

Oh, some TM Net guys came to our house 2 days ago to instal that WiFi thingy. So, bye-bye Streamyx modem, welcome WiFi & thank you very much Kakak. Hehe! Might as well consider watching some good Korean movies at Maaduu.com or Mysoju.com later. Drama/movie apakah yang terhangat di pasaran sekarang? Adakah Abe Lee Min Ho masih kekal unggul?

Cuti-cuti ni banyak betul waktu lapang kan? Usya website baju from Turkey pun bolehhhhh although I'm a total Turkish illiterate. The designs are quite gorgeous except the materials used may not be suitable for hot & sweaty Malaysian weather. Tapi muda-mudi sekarang ini macam selamba rock je pakai jaket kulit di bawah sinar terik matahari. Mungkin di dalam permukaan jaket itu depa tampal banyak-banyak cool fever supaya meresap haba

Orang cakap, orang lawa pakai apa pong lawa kan? Alright, now I've a BIG doubt that a petite 155 cm girl woman would look as good as those gorgeous Turkish models donning in clothes that will fork out my 1-year allowance. Muka pure Melayu plus Kelate somemore plus with budu as the favourite food topping out anything in this whole wide world, memang I cannot say anything la to defend myself. Lol!

I always ♥ Turkish scarves although you've got to have a high level of patient & skill to put them still on your head. Some pins are also required, tapi biasanya lepas adjust 5 minit depan cermin, tapi hasil masih tidak memberangsangkan, terus campak ke tepi & kembali kepada tudung bawal

White / Putih / Blanc

I'm a sucker for anything white & looking at the picture above makes my heart aching so bad to have my bedroom at home painted from pink to white. Ok, cat dia bukan white tapi you get the idea ayte? Bright colours are always the booom! It's so prettttty! ♥

Baru teringat, hari tu ada mimpi balik rumah to see the progress of our kitchen renovation. Real gila mimpi tu sampaikan sekarang baru tersedar itu hanyalah mimpi semata-mata. Haih! Rindu ginumo!

Tak sabar nak balik rumah. Nak jumpa family, kucin, Baby Alia & as usual, benda wajib everytime semester break ialah make over the bedroom walaupung bilik saya tak adalah besar mana pun. Dalam bilik saya hanya ada queen sized bed, an almari & a book shelf. Lonelynya bilik saya! Rasa macam nak move out je queen sized bed tu. Single bed sudah memadai but I bet, nobody's going to listen to my request. Nak mogok! Kalau tak ada orang nak tolong move, nak mogok tidur kat veranda! 

Tak pun mogok dengan tidur bersama-sama dengan anak-anak kucin dalam kotak kat dapur. Pasti kedatangan saya dialu-alukan sebab saya kan nanny mereka :')

Congratulations to my dearest cousin, Anis Nawi for her newborn! The 3.8 kg healthy cute baby girl's name is Nur Alia Sofia Mohd Hairi Amin & was born on 22 April 2011 at Hospital Sultanah Zainab, Kota Bharu. Alhamdulillah & yayyy to the Ummi & baby! :D

I fall in ♥ with Baby Alia {that's her nickname I think, although Kakak insists to call her Baby Sofia. Tapi we already have 3 Alias in Pak Cu Lah clan, tidak akan ada ke-confuse-an kah pada masa hadapan?} the first time I saw her pictures at her uncle's fb. Homai, so chubby! I feel like biting her pipi alive!

Hurm, maybe I should call the latest Alia as Baby Alia 111

I spent my childhood growing up together with Anis as she's among a few female maternal cousins I've living next to my house. Growing up with many male cousins at my age wasn't an option though, what's more with being a bully victim 6 days per week *cries* but look, I survived!

So, bila tengok Anis bertukar status from an innocent girl, to quite a bright student at USIM {so rajin my cousin, unlike me. Huhu!}, someone's fiancee & wife & currently proudly holding a title to a very cute baby girl, makes me feel so terharu :')

Btw, my female cat, Kitty also gave birth to 4 kittens last week tapi macam biasalah, now 2 ekor je tinggal. Kepada 2 ekor kittens yang berjaya survive, congratulations kiddos! Hold on, please don't die {yet?}, wait for your super nice nanny to come home. i.e me B-)

Kematian Osama bin Laden : Respon Saya

A simple comment posted by Menteri Besar Kelantan at his fb regarding the announcement on the death of Osama Bin Laden by Obama {this guy needs no introduction} 2 days ago

1. Jika benarlah Osama bin Laden benar-benar telah dibunuh oleh tentera Amerika Syarikat seperti yang diumumkan oleh Presiden Barrack Obama semalam, maka saya sebagai seorang Islam mendoakan rahmat dan keampunan Allah SWT untuk Osama bin Laden yang merupakan saudara saya di dalam Islam. Inilah yang dituntut oleh Islam sewaktu menerima berita kematian saudara seagamanya. Sebesar manapun kesalahan seorang muslim, jika ia mati dalam keadaan agamanya Islam, keampunan terhadapnya harus dipohon oleh saudara muslim yang lain.

2. Adapun keterlibatan Osama bin Laden dengan keganasan, saya serahkan kepada Allah SWT kerana ia masih belum terbukti melainkan melalui propaganda yang dipelopori oleh Amerika Syarikat. Jika benar beliau terlibat dengan kegananasan, sudah tentu saya tidak menyokong keganasan tersebut. Bagaimanapun keterlibatan Osama dengan keganasan masih lagi merupakan berita samar yang tidak dapat disahkan, namun keterlibatan Amerika Syarikat sendiri dalam keganasan sudah terbukti.

3. Ini jelas dengan serangan terhadap Afghanistan dan Iraq yang menghancurkan kedua-dua negara ini dengan tujuan mencari senjata pemusnah yang tidak dapat dijumpai sehingga ke hari ini. Apa pula tindakan Amerika Syarikat terhadap Israel yang terang-terang melakukan keganasan di bumi Palestin? Bukan sahaja tidak bertindak, bahkan Amerikalah yang kuat menyokong Israel. Justeru, jika Osama dianggap sebagai pengganas, maka Israel lebih patut disebut sebagai ganas dan penyokongnya Amerika Syarikat juga tidak boleh lari dari digelar sebagai ganas.

4. Inilah yang saya tegaskan kepada Duta Besar Amerika Syarikat yang datang ke pejabat saya pada 28 April 2011 yang lepas, bahawa sepasang selipar pun tidak boleh dirampas dari tuannya yang berhak, apatah lagi sebuah negeri yang berdaulat seperti Palestin, lebih-lebih lagi tidak berhak untuk dirampas oleh Israel.

5. Adapun mereka yang berkata bahawa dunia lebih selamat dengan kematian Osama, saya anggap kenyataan tersebut sebagai tidak cermat dan hanya bertujuan menampakkan diri sebagai penyokong Amerika. Jika dunia lebih selamat dengan kematian Osama, adakah dunia juga lebih selamat dengan kewujudan Amerika?

Ok, in freedom of speech conferred on me, this is my say, in the simplest sentences I could convey

Poor Osama & the rest of innocent Afghanistan people. If it's true that the tragedy of 11/9 was planned & caused by al Qaeda, justice should be sought in its long established legal way, not by attacking the state without having strong & concrete evidences to convict. Haven't you heard of the International Court of Justice {which had seen a lot of disrespect coming from your state, I shall add}, Mr President? How do you define justice when Osama wasn't even tried ab initio? 

Self-proclaimed world police fails big time this time #fail

And it's so sad seeing some of Muslims blatantly said something bad to Osama. Kalau betul pun dia salah, who are we to judge him? {Please refer to point no 1 above. Thank you} As if giving such harsh comment(s) would be an alibi that you know everything under the sun? Inilah pentingnya English education International Law

After all, this isn't the first time Osama was reported dead. Plus, with that evidence picture that even my 3 year-old second cousin can tell it was photo shopped

Of Kate & Will Fever

So, everybody is still with the Kate & Will fever? ♥ 

I was among one of those uncool people who didn't watch it live on tv or internet because I had my third paper yesterday evening & watching tv at eleventh hour can be considered as a BIG sin for someone who still has a chapter to hafal in the morning a few hours before the paper itself

And maybe the fact that he would never be mineeee & other girls as well but Kate made me feel less excited?! *cries*

Apparently, everybody looks good when they're young *coughs*

Anyhow, thanks Youtube, Dailymail.co.uk & lots of Kate & Will's royal wedding pictures that are available on the internet. At least, I know some of the trivias like Kate did her own make up {simple yet nice. Looking natural doesn't harm ayte?}, some of William's ex-girlfriends came during the akad nikah, Prince Charles made jokes on his son's thinning hair etc etc
