Of Being Happy

I made a self vow that I would make 2013 as awesome as I can. I've a list of reasons for that but the ultimate one is because I've been wasting a few months being sad & recklessly took some things for granted. For those days & months where I was at my lowest point of my life, I'm sorry little gloomy Suria! Let's shine again & be happy!

I want to be happy, like really really happy but the ultimate happiness is only in Jannah. So, in order to achieve that, I must make Allah happy with myself first, ayte? There are still a lot of things to improvise & learn and I pray may Allah help us with our path towards Jannah, strengthen our determination to become better muslims & make things easy for us in dunia & akhirat. Amin & InsyaAllah

Of course I want to make my Parents happy too & for now it means 2 things; get a descent job & get married. My Sister said I'm too garang with guys that I've scared them away. Bahahahaha! Ala, kittew tak reti la nak lembik-lembik macam obor-obor ni. 18 months of being single & counting! Xoxo!

And when I die, I want to be remembered as 'Suria who was  kind & always brought  happiness to other people' :')

Kerana Hobi Saya Adalah Mencuci

Assalamualaikum & hello loves! Selamat hari Rabu!

Rasa macam dah lama tak mempoyokan diri cerita pasal chambering. Awal-awal hari tu rajin bebenor amik gambar. Kununnya nak buat ala-ala "My Chambering Journey", amik gambar everyday & jot down hari ini buat apa, kerja banyak mana etc.

Bahahaha!

I'm now in my fourth month of chambering. So far so good. Civil area isn't that boring like I used to think. There's always something to learn everyday, Alhamdulillah. I'm currently doing Probate, Conveyancing & Litigation. Criminal cases ada la buat sikit-sikit yakni tolong my chambering mate, Saiful buat surat or fax to courts & penjara, tolong dia cari files yang bersusunan itu & accompany dia pergi interview clients dalam penjara. Sometimes, the Master & I ada juga lah follow Encik H & Saiful to the courts for criminal trial. Rape or outrage modesty cases la biasanya. Saja nak penuhkan bench depan, gigih menyalin macam adik-adik first day lecture kat uni. Hihi!

When was the last time I showed you my table at the office? Untuk tahun 2013 ini, no major change pun except I've my own printer & meja juga semakin semak yang menjadi yardstick tahap kesibukan

27 Jan 2013. Handling 2 probate files at one time, maka meja seperti pre garuda attack

Hiasan semata-mata

Itu bukan habuk, itu adalah snow

Hobi saya di office adalah  mencuci toilet, lap meja di pantry, cuci sink, lap meja-meja & kalau la vacum office tu tak berat, maybe 2 hari sekali vacum lantai. Kadang-kadang kalau terover rajin, meja En H & Saiful pun saya kemas-kemas juga. And, I've this one habit of rearranging the chairs. Pantang tengok kerusi senget or terusik sikit, mesti tangan gatal nak betulkan.

2 in 1 katanya

Dengan Sekali Lafaz

"Alhamdulillah. Dengan sekali lafaz saya akhirnya selamat menjadi isteri orang..."

Perhaps, that's what the bride had in her mind after the akad. No, I'm not talking about my akad, alright? It was my BIL's cousin's akad that I'm talking about now. Kihkih!

Wearing my Sister's old kebarung which she wore for her convocation in 2006. My Mother had altered it for me but entah mengapa masih besar lagi. Nampak bebenor baju pinjam -.-'

The masjid where the akad nikah took place

I've a few friends living in To' Uban & was excited to set my feet there for the first time but I never thought it's that farrrr. Kalau drive sorang-sorang confirm tak akan sampai. But the masjid is beautiful, couldn't help but to be a bit jakun

Alhamdulillah & congratulations Nik Azuan & Ainul Farah!
Semoga dipermudahkan urusan rumahtangga, murah rezeki & bercinta hingga ke syurga. Amin...

Well, I didn't take many pictures of the bride & the bridegroom because we sat at the saf paling belakanggggg & I was too busy usya-ing & going ga-ga at Baby Sumayya. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the kenduri, lauk-pauk {wish I was less pemalu to top up the pajeri nanas & bubur ubi. So sedap!} & the Nik clan is the bunch of cool people to hang out with :)

Walaupun baju tak ikut tema yakni kuning, mek totappppp terpilih menjadi one of the tray bearers.

Life of the Prophet: Invasion of The Elephants

All of the events before the Prophet Muhammad’s birth (saw) should not be overlooked, because they were a pre-lude to the birth of the great prophet (sws) specifically with his grandfather.

First incidence: rediscovery of the well of zamzam by Abu Mutallib, who was given the location in a dream.

Second incidence: invasion of elephant which defined these people.

Abaraha was a very strategic leader and him building a cathedral was not just for his own religious belief but to make his homeland more viable by attracting the masses. He saw the Kabah as a competition and built his cathedral to rival with it in order to let the land flourish. A man by the name of “Kanani” went to the restroom in the cathedral and rubbed his feces all over it. He then goes and brags about it. When Abaraha discovers it, he sets on a mission to destroy the kabah. This is why there is etiquette in Islam, you give them the message but you leave them be. He gathers an army of 60,000 soldiers and an elephant breeder. The elephants alone will completely bulldoze down the towns and will instill fear in the people. When Abraha starts heading towards the kabah, people start gathering together to fight him.

Abraha was a tyrant but being a military strategist, he was not blood thirsty. When he was heading to the kabah, he would actually stop and talk to the people and tell them why he wanted to destroy the kabah. Some people actually understood why he was going to do it but it stayed as they’re obligation to protect the kabah. Along his journey he meets a man name “Dhul Naffar”, who gathered his tribe to destroy Abraha who literally ran them over. At the end of the fight, when “Dhul Naffar” was brought to Abaraha, he told him to keep him alive in order to strategize with him against the people of kabah. They then come across a second tribe “Sharan and Nafis” which he runs over. He then captures their commander, “Nufain bin Abib”. He then establishes himself in the land and when he starts to come across more and more Arab tribes, they begin to not even try to fight him.  When he gets to “Taif”, the commander completely surrenders and says that they are down with Abraha. The commander also gives Abaraha a man who is literally the human map and scout, “Abu Righal”. On their journey, “Abu Righal” died and his grave later became a plan to defile due to his treachery. Something interesting is that during the time of the people of Thamud, there was also a man named “Abu Righal” who was not killed with his people and when people found out, they stoned him to death because he was the ring leader with his people. Some tribes fought him, others laid low and others actually worked with him to accomplish his goal.

When Abraha gets to the outskirts of makah, he sends a man to tell the people that he was not there to kill people but to just destroy the Kabah. While the army was camped out, they began to raid a bunch of places. The man goes to Abu Mutallib and tells him the conditions. Abu Muttalib then speaks to Abraha, who is hit by a vast amount of respect for the man. Abu Muttalib only asks for the two hundred camels and Abraha is in completely taken back. Abu Muttalib then says, “What I want you to understand is that I own these camels and what you do not realize is that the house that you are trying to destroy also has an owner and he will take care of it…” Abu Muttalib gets his camels back and heads back to Makkah. When he gets back to makkah, he goes to the kabbah and while holding the door, he says some amazing words, “Oh Allah, stop them because if any man tries to attack his home, he defends it, so Allah please defend your home. Oh Allah, do not let their cross dominate here. All their energies are attacking you, oh Allah but  if you deicide that you want to leave them be, you know what is best.“ And the city of Makkah is evacuated.

Abaraha starts to walk towards the Kabah. Then, “Nufail” (one of the captured commanders) who had been hanging out with “Onais” (elephant breeder) goes to the biggest elephant, “Mahmood” (the one Abraha used to ride on), lifts its ear and speaks to it, “Listen, you are about to attack the house and place that belongs to my creator and your creator. Sit down, Mahmood, and go back to where you came from”. “Nufail” then walks away and Mahmood sits down which goes completely against an elephant’s behavior. Onais tries to get him up but every time they turned to the Makkah, he would not move. The army then just leaves him, and enters Makkah. Then we know what happens with the surah,

Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?

Did He not make their plan into misguidance?

And He sent against them birds in flocks,

Striking them with stones of hard clay,

And He made them like eaten straw.

The birds came out of the blue, flew over Makkah with smalls stones and threw them down. These attacks completely destroy Abraha’s army. Although, physics might be involved, there are was something out of this world happening. When the stone would fall, it would literally cut off limbs or pierce through elephants. It was completely decimating. There were bodies everywhere yet there were people who survived which created more of a legend about the Kabah. Literally, two months before the Prophet (sws) birth.

What happened to Abraha?

He was hit with stones but was able to escape and when they take him back to Yemen, he begins to rot. When he reaches back to his kingdom, he was a vegetable, and almost all of his limbs had fell off. This is why there was something interesting about the rocks, because if someone was hit by a rock, later on they would get sick and they would literally rot.

This whole incident defined the generation by restoring sacredness around the Kabah.

Aisha (R) (born 40 years after she says, “Not only was the story of the elephants famous for how only protected the Kabah. The man who was the elephant breeder (Onias) and his assistant were still in Makkah and people used to know them and they had gone blind and would beg for food.” They remained as an example to people of the attack of the elephants.

After the incident, a huge storm comes in and literally washes the bodies away.

I Love You, Aufa

My neighbour / primary school junior / uni mate just gave a birth to a baby girl on 16 January. My Mother had a chance to visit her at the HUSM & can't stop complimenting on how beautiful the baby is

I thought, all babies look the same. I mean, when they just came out from the oven, the only things that could differentiate them are just some apparent features like skin colour & the thickness of the hair.

But, my Mother is right that she's one of the cutest babies I've ever met! My heart melts every time I saw this picture. Auwww! It's like love at first sight!

Can I bite her chubby cheeks, nose & eyes, pleaseee?

To Nur Aufa Afrina, semoga membesar bagai johan, be the coolness of your Parents & grandmothers' eyes & sentiada mendapat barakah & dalam lindunganNya. Amin & InsyAllah. Your Ummi told me that you're one cerewet baby, often refused to sleep at nights but I think, you're just making another excuse to get all the attention from your loved ones. Naughty you, awal-awal lagi dah jadi attention seeker. Hihihi!

Your Ummi & I always had the hati ke hati talk when both of us were single {your Ummi is happily married now, you're the evidence but Aunty Sue is still loyal with her single title *coughs*} but Allah works in a mysterious way & I'm so happy for her that her life is complete now :')

Aunty Sue is looking forward to meeting you again, soon. InsyaAllah. I still owe you a present & a series of gomoi-gomoi too but Aunty Sue needs to master the art of handling babies first.

Terpaksa curi. Ok, thanksbye!

  I love you, Aufa

Hari Jumaat Saya

Assalamualaikum & hello, loves!

My aunt & uncle will be leaving for umrah on 31 January, so they organized a small makan-makan for the Syeikh Abdullah clan at their place this afternoon. Since, we live next to each other {7 houses altogether!}, maka urusan masak memasak dilakukan secara bergotong-royong

Despite going to bed at 3 am this morning {watching Suits. Hehe!}, I managed to wake up early & helped with the masak-masak. I wasn't among the earliest to arrive obviously but it's better late than never, alright? Lols!

Affan & Shakir, the cousins with their oh so meriah baju melayu. Before pergi masjid for solat jumaat pun sempat makan maruku. Budaya apakah ini?

I had to have 2 pinggan of nasi to satisfy my tummy
Can you spot some ulams with budu?

Me & my Master will be having a full trial on 30 & 31 at Pasir Mas Sessions Court, maka I can't send them off at the airport on 31. Alahai, kecewanya. Baru ingat nak masuk office lambat pagi 31 tu

And look look what my Sister just brought home from Sarawak!

Of course I had to begin with the most colourful kek lapis

It's like eating rainbow. I can't help but to admire the bright & colourful stripes. Obses warna much?

Dan mungkin juga sedikit poyo. Bahahahaha! Ahh, whatever. I'm highhhh on colourful kek lapis

Sekian.

Selamat Menyambut Maulidur Rasul 1434H

Tuan Guru Haji Nik Abdul Aziz bin Nik Mat,
Menteri Besar Kelantan
Bertarikh : 10 Rabiul Awwal 1434H

Happy Birthday To Me!

Another nikmat to be thankful of that I officially turn +1 year older today, at 6:30 am to be specific

Praises be to Allah, Ar-Rahman & Ar-Rahim for His countless blessings, a million of thanks to the Parents and family & friends for the roles played in my life whom I can't imagine living my life without. And also you, who are reading this! Tqvm!

I'm not a big fan of birthdays. I do enjoy wishing my family & friends on their birthdays but when it comes to my own, I usually don't take it seriously. Perhaps, I'm still in so much denial that I'm turning a year older *coughs* & the youth is slowly sailing away from me *coughs*

Nonetheless, I'm still quite overwhelmed with every birthday wishes I receive. I really appreciate the effort & every wishes/prayers anyway, be in any mean conveyed because I believe that it's the thought that counts most :)

When I read back my post which I posted on my birthday last year, I couldn't help but to compare on things & events happened between this time interval. A year ago, I was still struggling with Law School, busy fixing a broken heart, trying to chin up & shine again. And about 365 days later, here I'm a few steps closer to achieve my childhood dream & I'm back at my hometown living with the family after being the budak hostel since I was 13. Alhamdulillah!

My life isn't perfect, matter of factly. There's always things to improvise, missions to accomplish & hopefully more happiness to embrace, InsyaAllah. Amidst the ups & downs, I shall never stop being grateful for every chapter inserted into my life. Every cloud has a silver lining, Allah is the Greatest Planner & He knows best

Oh, in case you're wondering what I did when the clock striked 12 am last night. Well, I was cycling while watching Suits. Like a bausss!

Akhir kalam,

Another Revolusi Sihat With Minimum Effort

Assalamualaikum & hello, loves! How are you today?

When the internet connection woke up from its hibernation a few days ago, I took some times to edit the blog template, fonts & change the picture in your right side which if you click on it, it will direct you to 'About Me' page

Yes, I put my picture there with purpose

As cliche as it may sound, I don't have many nice solo pictures of myself despite the fact that I took not less than 100 pictures in a month. Why? Because my self esteem always hinders me from doing so. And the longer I stare at my own picture, the more I realize that I look older, faster than I had imagined

Oh, youth! Now, I wonder how would I look like when I'm a mother to 5 kids

I'm currently 42 kg. I may look petite but I feel heavy & bloated. Thus the health revolution I've vowed to fully oblige in 2013. I want to get healthier & since I love food so much, I don't believe in skipping meals to reduce my weight

Gigih angkut bawak masuk bilik. Bilik dah la tak besau mana

So, about my so-called health revolution, I did good for 2 days only though. Religiously cycling for more than an hour in front of the tv & then gigih angkut the cycling machine into my bedroom.

Unfortunately, there was a distraction on the third day. I went to the court  for a few hours & I thought "I've been walking a lot today, so maybe I can skip the an hour cycling tonight"

Bagus betul ayat penyedap hati. I always had excuses to cycle. Or in other words, I've lost my gusto. It's been more than 2 weeks since the last time I rode it. See, I'm my own worst enemy. Hangat-hangat tahi ayam. Tsk!

Chill chill! Baru bulan Januari ni

If Elmo asks me the same question, my answer will be "By mouth, kuyah-ing the food. You know, like food processor"

The Agony & Pain

Though far removed beyond my aching sight, still is thy image in my heart beheld. Thy form is now departed, but grief eternal fills its place. On thee my soul was fixed, and never will thy memory be forgot. - Nezami

Happy Birthday, Dear 22 You

I wish I could have more time to write a post on everyone's birthday but I'm only human, so please forgive me dear friends & family. It's the thoughts that count most alright?

Anyhow, happy birthday to the former staff of our office, Noliyana who is celebrating her 22nd birthday today! Oh my Allah, baru 22! So muda belia! I couldn't recall what I was when I was 22 but there was nothing to be proud of, perhaps? Juggling between classes at Law School & self created dilemmas, it's safe to say that there was nothing extraordinary happened back then. Lols!

Yours truly & the birthday girl

I wish Na is here in K.Bharu, coming to the office from Sunday - Thursday from 8 am - 5 pm as usual. But she's now attending courses at CIAST, Shah Alam for 3 months, leaving me in the office broken-hearted. Sobs!

To Na,
Happy Birthday to you yang nun jauh di mata tapi tetap dekat di hati & ofis. I wish you're here, so that esok kita boleh celebrate di ofis sambil minum milo suam di pantry like we always did for the 3 previous months. Sobs!

I pray may Allah make everything easy for you, selamat dunia & akhirat & always in His blessing. Amin & InsyaAllah. Have fun on your birthday & take careeeeeeeee! Me love you!

Of Waiting For Mon Petit Ami By The Window On A White Pretty Table

I wish my table at the office looks like this one, instead of big, dull, serious & black. Oh, so pretty!

Speaking of which, I'm a type of person who likes to turn a space into more homely. Even when I'm just staying for a day or two at the hotel, I can't stand the sight of seeing things not in a proper order

*looks around my bedroom*

Alright, I need to clean my bedroom the first thing tomorrow morning. 3 weeks after the incident, it's time to change the bed sheet! My study table is seriously in a dire need for proper arrangement. And I'm thinking of moving out the exercise bicycle back to where it was at before i.e in front of the tv. Hangat-hangat tahi ayam nampaknya resolusi sihat awal tahun hari tu. Heh!

Oh, do you know that I'm also a window person? I need windows & fresh air. Spending a day long in an air-conditioned room makes me lemau. Biasalah orang kampung.

But, waking up to this view ............................. is priceless!

Mon petit ami, where art thou?
*feeling-feeling kat Paris*

I think, I'm slowly turning to be like my Mother. She likes pretty things, flowers, furniture arrangement, bright colours, loves to spend & has eyes for perfection. And the fact that the Sister thinks that I've a taste for things like makcik-makcik has strengthened the point. Oh well! Like Mother, like Daughter, alright?

And have I told you yet that my Mother is chatty? Maybe mek pun chatty juga tapi versi tulisan

Salam hari Jumaat semua. Semoga hari kita diberkati olehNya, insyaAllah. Jangan nakal-nakal!

2 Lawyers 1 Degree

Is there anyone here watch 'Suits'?

I used to underestimate it for thinking that it would be just like other lawyer-ed tv series but oh man, I'm so wrong! I fell in love with its actors/actresses & found myself immerse with things happened at the firm. Couldn't help but to compare with what I've got to experience at our little firm here in K.Bharu. Lols!

2 lawyers with 1 law degree from Harvard = dramas!

And pleaseeee, who doesn't want a cool boss like Harvey Specter, a corporate lawyer at Pearson Hardman who graduated 5th in his Harvard Law School class? He's also a New York City's best closer with a witty & charming attitude. And he's one good looking man too, alright? Ahemmm!

I wish, I'm at least half smart & fun as Mike, a brilliant college dropout whose dream of becoming an attorney was derailed after he was expelled. However, he found his luck by attending an interview with Harvey by an unfortunate event

And one of favourite quotes by Harvey is this; "Being a lawyer is like being a doctor. You keep pressing until it hurts"

I guess, keeping myself a bit busy in this black & white world isn't that bad ayte? At least, it has trained me to be stronger. How should I compare between losing a case & being hurt or cheated by a boyfriend? Guess, which one hurts most?

Well, I haven't won any case yet. So, I can't put that in details. Bahahaha!

Oh, look look! I've just found the Official Suits Tumblr. Ok, obses sudahh. And click here to download the series. Yes, you're welcome ;)

A Few Hours Before 2013

Assalamualaikum & good morning, loves! How's today been treating you so far? :)

It's already 14 January 2013. 14 days of 2013 & here I'm, baru nak cerita on things I did on New Year's Eve. Well, it was nothing much actually. Just some a few quality hours spent with my secondary school friends, Nen, Che Ro & satu-satunya peserta tunggal lelaki yakni Che Ro's younger brother aka her driver. Hihi!

Che Ro was home for a few days for her wedding preparation in February. I know wedding preparation can be tedious & tiring but I guess, it's the excitement that keeps things going & slowly fall into places. And the amount of money spent for the big day, MasyaAllah semoga worth them all. Gering pulak fikir

Anyway, Che Ro & her brother came & pick me at the office before we met Nen somewhere. Both Che Ro & Nen went to UTP, worked in KL for some times before they were offered positions as JKR engineers. Tapi Nen is luckier I guess as dia dapat JKR Kota Bharu while Che Ro is in KL. When they started talking about works, engineering related stuff, bosses, meetings etc, I just had to keep my mouth shut because law & engineering are like two different worlds. Sigh!

We had Chim Chum as dinner {all three of them were first timers & I had the honour to be the host. Bak kata my friend, Dayah, D'Village Restaurant should have appointed me as their spoke person. Lols!} & were high on meat & spicy sauce. I was glad they liked it, tak sia-sia pong-pang kat Fb. Hihi!

Spot the most skematod one with formal black & white. Pfttt!

Dan-dan pulak surau kat situ under renovation, awal-awal sampai tak perasan pulak. So, instead of makan, solat & continue makan, we had to leave early & find a masjid/surau. To add more drama, hujan lebat uolss! Lari-lari masuk dalam masjid & malu gila bila jemaah surau dengan concernnya tanya kami datang dari mana sebab it was so close to Isya'. MasyaAllah. If we could hide our face in our handbag, we probably had done so!

But it was worth it. I mean, great time with a bunch of great people equal to awesome-ness ayte? And knowing the fact that this could be the last time I got to spend some girly time with my prep class deskmate when we were in Form 1, Che Ro before she becomes a Puan & my classmate of 4 years, Nen {she said she's single. I believe her but I don't believe her. Hahaha!} made my last day of 2012 more memorable. Alhamdulillah :)

From L to R; Yours truly, Nen & Che Ro

It just felt like old time in Musalla Rabiatul Adawiyah, SMS Pasir Puteh when we were much much younger *coughs*

Love & Betrayal

Assalamualaikum & happy Sunday, loves! How are you today?

This is the conversation between me & my Father in the car, on the way to the office this morning;

Abah: Internet tak ok ke?
Saya: Tak. Banyak minggu dah

A few phone calls had been made to TM Net but there is no progress yet so far. Of course there were times I felt so fed up & couldn't help myself to hate whoever the culprit for the internet cable thief. Don't they have anything better to do? And have they ever felt guilty & know the meaning of sins? Sigh!

Anyway, life without internet means I've got to find some alternative to keep my days go by without me spending much time on bed. I'm such a sleepyhead; I can sleep anytime regardless the abundant of hours of sleep I've qadha-ed earlier. Hehe! So, reading is one of the alternatives beside watching TV or movies, eating, playing The Sims or dotting my cats. And the grown up Suria think she has had enough of cheesy love novels & now opts for other genres of novels pulak. She said why she must bother to read other people's love stories when her own stories are no less than Romeo & Juliet versi budu?

I'm exaggerating but you've got the point, alright?

I have heard a lot of good reviews about Khaled Hosseini's 'The Kite Runner' but haven't had the chance to lay my hands on any of it. So, when my schoolmate, Ain recommended this book {when I paid her a visit at her grandparents' house, she just came back from Edinburgh for good at that time & brought home boxes of books! Heaven! }, I know I just have to read it. The book, however had to wait for about a year on the book shelf before I finally had the time to savour my times flipping its pages. Kalau dia pandai bercakap, probably it would have said, "What took you so long, Missy?! You no like me?!"

Hehe!

The book is good, 3.5/5. Would like to rate 4 or 5 but I seem to not agree on some parts. If you haven't read it; go, get a copy, read & have your own judgment because I'm not going to spoil it. I cried a bit though towards the ending because reading a letter from a father to his illegitimate child whom he denied her rights & sent her away to marry a man {a shoe maker I may add} who is about 25 years older than her is too heart wrenching! Imagine a betrayal from your father when you were just 15 & had nobody to stand up for you. Ok, dah spoilkan sikit. Cannot tahan. And yes Kakak, when you came to my room that night & saw my teary eyes, yes yes I was crying because of this book. Tsk!

Bosannya book review. Sekian

Dear Cucu Sepupu

If I've a cousin, he got married & has some children, then one of them got married & has a child, then what does it make me? A nenek saudara? Feeling so tua already but don't judge a person but her title, alright?

So, I'm presenting to you my cucu saudara, the latest member in Syeikh Abdullah aka Pak Chu Lah clan! Say Assalamualaikum & hello to this little princess, Nur Aisya Khalisya binti Akmal Hadi who was born on 26 December 2012 at Fukui University Hospital, Japan. Alhamdulillah

Kenapakah muka baby macam berubah-ubah?

Proud Uncle Amarul & Tok Mi

Khalisya's Ummi, Dr Nornadia is my anak sepupu who is currently on an unpaid leave while his husband finishing his Ph.D in Fukui

Btw, me & my anak sepupu, Amarul are sebaya but all of us call him Abang. I still remember there was one time when we were 4 or 5, I laughed at him {couldn't recall for what reason} that made him punch me on my stomach! It was so hurt, I cried! Pfttttt!

To Baby Khalisya,
I'm not sure what name you should address me {I prefer Cik Sue rather than Tok Sue. I'm still young Thanks!} but I'm really looking forward to meeting you one day, InsyaAllah. Nak pergi Fukui macam jauh sangat la Baby, so kita jumpa di Malaysia je lah nanti, alright? I pray may you grow up well & be the coolness to your Parents, family, society negara & agama. May you be a good daughter in both dunia & akhirat. Your Parents have set the standard so high, I'm sure they can inspire you any time! Tak pun, if nak jadi lawyers macam Cik Sue, Cik Dayana, Cik Su La & Cik Lan pun boleh. Ahemm!

And if you happen to read this {which I assume by googling your own name that has brought you here? Hihi!}, hugs & kisses from Tok Cik Sue!

Whistle For The Choir

A friend of mine dedicated this song to me a few years ago. I couldn't remember the last time I played it on my hp but it suddenly appeared & played randomly in my mind a few days ago

I've some songs which I can relate to certain events in my life & this is one of them. It reminds me of how young(er), happy & adventurous I used to be, once. That is one of many (happy) chapters in my life :)

A Joyous Meeting

Assalamualaikum & hello, loves!

So, this is the story of how I met my roommate at Penang Matriculation College after yearssss of not seeing each other!

I've told you a bit about her here. After we finished college, all my 3 roommates went to different path; Ain went to Trisakti Universiti in Jakarta to study medicine, Fa went to UTM to study Geomatic Engineering & Wan went to UPM to study Biology. We rarely keep in touch, like not everyday but we always keep ourselves updated with each other's stories. Thank to Fb for being the medium to skodeng :P

Among 4 of us, Ain has always been the Kak Long. Being the eldest among 5, clearly she's the most mature one & oh so motherly to us. Not to mention the most rajin one la obviously, that was how she got to go to med school, aright? :P I've many fond memories of sharing room with them; pillow talks, jalan-jalan pusing tasik KMPP in the evening, dinner at the cafe, combined all the four beds & tidur macam sardin etc. The friendship & sisterhood created between us, is something I'll keep till death do us apart. InsyaAllah

Anyhow, back to Ain. I remember receiving a call from her before she left for Trisakti for the first time. I was so happy for her & secretly, I cried a little after that because my oh my, my roommate is going to achieve her lifetime ambition! Worth every minutes she had spent at her study table during the weekends. WoohOo!

To cut the story short, Ain whassap-ed me a few weeks ago, telling me she's going to get married yada yada yada. Ain lives in Batang Kali, Selangor & I know it's quite impossible to travel there to attend her majlis no matter how much I love her. But Allah has a good plan as her husband, Hamdi lives like 5 minutes from my house in K.Bharu. I was really looking forward for the day that I couldn't help but to disturb Ain with a lot of text msg & whassap-ed her asking for the direction, instead the 5 min drive. Hahaha!

I went to her husband's majlis with my Parents after work. I don't know how to describe it but I think my jaw hurt a bit for smiling & laughing too much with Ain :))

We invited them for dinner at our house the day after

We feasted them with Kuew Tiau Lakna {spelling?}, martabak makaroni {whatever the name is -.-'} & other dishes which I'm not sure their name. Heheh! My Mother is a big fan of cooking, no doubt

Ain & my Mother

Yours truly & Ain

I uploaded this picture at Fb & tagged the other 2 roommates, Fa & Wan. Bak kata pepatah, jauh di mata dekat di hati, maka tag lah di FB

To soon-to-be Dr Ain & Dr Hamdi,
I don't have any word to describe how joyous it was to see you two on your wedding day. The minute I saw you standing next to each other, deep down inside I know you two are really made for each other. I pray may your love & jodoh will last till Jannah & you'll be going strong together through thick & thin. Semoga Allah permudahkan urusan dunia & akhirat, dimurahkan rejeki & live in His blessing always. Amin & InsyaAllah. Nanti dah ada title Dr, don't forget me! And selalulah datang visit memandangkan kita jiran. Hehe!

I love you, Ain!
